Warning and heads up for people that have no choice selecting a shipper and have this service for food / food delivery subscriptions /
Medical meals or medications. Any transport of these is governed by DOT regulations for handling and temp and cleanliness controls regardless if its subbed or contracted to drivers and the delivery servive is responsoble for compliance. Being given an 8 hour delivery window (or none at all, triggers regulation issues and questions about how those are complied and with if items are perishable or 100+ temps make that even more concerning if status is “out for delivery”that whole tome. They need to comply with that for perishables and medications and with the rise in food contamination this is even more significant. If they dont provide a more accurate window -to ensure temp is maintained or else they have to refrigerate it or provide other controls and prove compliance.  You can report these to DOT if your items are in question -and provide specific info and all messages you receive from app or text- with the long or inaccurate windows provided and screen shots so you can begin to get refunded for insafe temp
For temperature-controlled transport of food, the relevant federal framework is the FDA’s FSMA Sanitary Transportation Rule (it covers transport practices that prevent food from becoming unsafe, including adequate temperature control). It applies to shippers, receivers, loaders, and carriers that transport food (with exceptions). It requires, among other things:

Vehicles/transport equipment suitable and capable of maintaining temperatures necessary for safe transport
Transportation operations that include adequate temperature controls
Training
Records / procedures / agreements (audit trail) 
FDA
For medications, there isn’t a single “DOT temperature number” that replaces the need to comply with the product’s labeled storage/transport conditions and broader pharmaceutical distribution quality expectations (often referred to as GDP-style expectations). The key practical point is: if you cannot demonstrate the product stayed within its approved range during the actual time out in the environment, you have a “temperature excursion”/deviation investigation problem.

2) Your timeline and Texas heat: why this is a red flag

Even consumer food safety guidance is built around preventing time in the “danger zone”:

Keep cold foods at 40°F / 4°C or below
Don’t let perishable food sit out more than 2 hours (or 1 hour if above 90°F)

If meal kits are “fresh/frozen” but are effectively spending long periods in ~100°F Texas ambient in a non-temperature-controlled vehicle, the likelihood of temperatures exceeding those thresholds is high unless the items are validated with proper packaging/insulation and controlled start/end conditions (and even then, temperature logger evidence matters).

Our meal delivery is consistently delivered late at night with absolutely no ability to track the driver at all in spite of customer service constantly saying track the driver in the app. The app is absolutely useless & never updates. Most of the time, it doesn’t even find the delivery & for some reason had an incorrect address with an apartment number for a house. There’s no way to correct anything in the app & the only way to contact customer service is through the text number.

My experience with Veho has been extremely disappointing. I have never had this many issues with a delivery company before. My package was never properly delivered, and I was given conflicting information throughout the entire process.

I was told my package would be prioritized for delivery, but there were no updates in the app. When I contacted Zara, I was told that the package was not delivered because of an alleged address issue. However, I never received any proper attempt to contact me or resolve the situation.

The customer service experience has been a complete joke. There is no real way to speak with someone who can actually help. You are only able to communicate through text messages, and when they say they are transferring you to a “manager,” it ends up being through email, which only makes the process slower and more frustrating.

Instead of helping, I kept receiving excuses and was left without my package. Now I do not have my replacement items, and I still do not have my refund. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been unacceptable.

I would not recommend Veho. Customers deserve a delivery company that takes responsibility and actually tries to resolve issues instead of making an already frustrating situation even worse.

I live in an apartment and I’ve had my box left in probably 5 different spots. Including out in the parking lot. And they act like you can track it when you can’t, you just get a 3 hour window that is very inconsistent for a weekly delivery.

I know where I live. It doesn’t track anything. It shows me where I’m located. Home Chef started using this “side hustle” delivery service. My meals were arriving very late. I paused my service for months and complained about it to home chef and Veho. They were sorry but nothing changed. After months of not ordering I ordered meals last week, they arrived around 1:00 PM which is an improvement over the 8 and 9 PM deliveries I used to get. I have meals scheduled for the next 2 weeks I hope this trend continues. The app for tracking is still useless however.

This is the absolute worst system I’ve ever used in the delivery industry. I cannot change my registered address on the app. I called support, and although the agent was nice, they could not help me. I also tried the text support, but no one could call me to assist.

I’ve had two separate orders delivered to 11th Lane instead of 11th Avenue, even though my packages have the correct address printed on them. Because the app shows “Lane” instead of “Avenue,” the delivery driver is taking my package to the wrong location based on the VEHO app.

My merchant has the correct address, but somehow it was entered incorrectly into VEHO’s system. Now I have to go retrieve my packages from another home and hope I get there before the homeowner does. This is unacceptable.

I would give zero stars if I could.
My package has been delayed three times. At one point, the app showed the driver was just one stop away from my apartment, only for the status to suddenly change to “Delayed.”
What is even more frustrating is that Veho falsely claimed the driver could not access my building because of a locked gate. That statement is completely false. The main gate has been broken and left wide open, allowing any delivery vehicle to enter freely, and the pedestrian gate is always unlocked. Other carriers deliver here every day without any issues.
Instead of delivering my package, Veho provided an inaccurate excuse. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and accountability.
I shop frequently with retailers that previously used reliable delivery services. Since they switched to Veho, the customer experience has become frustrating and disappointing.
If you value your time and expect honest service, avoid this company. Retailers should seriously reconsider partnering with Veho
