## What is Veiler?

Veiler keeps the photos and videos you would rather not have seen behind a passcode. There is no account to create.

LOCKED EVERY TIME
- A six-digit passcode on the vault itself
- Face ID or Touch ID to unlock in one tap
- Locks itself when you leave, and covers its contents in the app switcher
- Wrong passcodes make the next attempt wait longer

A VAULT FOR EACH PURPOSE (Pro)
- Keep separate vaults with separate passcodes
- A vault can be hidden from the list and opened only by typing its passcode

ON YOUR OTHER DEVICES (Pro)
- iCloud sync, turned on per vault rather than all at once
- What goes to iCloud is always encrypted
- Sign in again after a new phone or a reinstall and the vault comes back
- Short on space? Let go of the originals you have already synced and fetch them again when you need them

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, IN ORDER
- JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, WebP; MP4, MOV and more
- Bring them across from Photos and sort them into albums. The originals stay in Photos
- View them without leaving the app. Videos have a scrubber, playback speed and looping

SHARING, WITHOUT THE REST OF THE FILE
- Location and other metadata are stripped from photos and videos as you share
- Send through the usual share sheet, and export everything whenever you like. Your library is not held hostage

PLANS
- Free — supported by ads
- Ad-free — removes the ads and nothing else
- Veiler Pro — no limit on what you store, several vaults, iCloud sync, a 30-day trash, video speed and looping, a record of wrong passcode attempts, and shake to lock

The free plan shows ads. You are asked once whether to allow tracking for them; if you decline, you still see ads, just not personalised ones.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
- Veiler Pro (monthly) starts with 7 days free
- Veiler Pro (monthly and yearly) and Ad-free are auto-renewing subscriptions
- The price and the renewal period are shown in the app before you buy
- Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, it renews for another period at the same price
- Cancel any time from your App Store account settings
- Veiler Pro (Lifetime) is a one-time purchase and does not renew

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-05

- An import now stops just before it runs out of room, rather than failing partway through. Whatever was already brought across stays where it is
- You can stop an import while it is running, and keep what has gone in so far
- The import screen now says that the original photos and videos stay in Photos

Fixes:
- An item restored from the trash could be removed again by the automatic cleanup that was still running
- Choosing "lock immediately" could still leave a short unlocked window when coming back to the app
- Select mode survived switching vaults, leaving the tab bar and buttons hidden
