Just needs better understanding on how it all works. So many questions that I have but I will research it out but I have fun looking for a vein finder that work on my phone. I have veins that do not like to be messed with bc they will push away from every kinds of IV I’ve had or shot in my spine. Neonatal Doctor ended up coming having to put it in. After trying in a dark room a shaved my arm as was still not able to see anything except a vein that was already visible. If you are struggling to find veins to begin with this will not help unfortunately. I do notice that if the patient has hairy arms the hair really stands out and masks the veins somewhat. I can adjust the slider to make the hair less visible but it also makes the veins less visible. If it cost money, why not have it say the price in the App Store? Instead they hide it, and trick people into downloading the app. If they are this dishonest about transparency what else are they going to lie about or trick you into doing. A big red flag for me! ### 1/5 — This is a scam, and Apple is letting it happen. *2025-05-29, version 1.0.2* This app is a flat-out con. It does absolutely nothing except throw a red filter over your camera feed and let you zoom in and out — something the default camera already does, for free. That’s the entire “functionality.” No features, no innovation, just a lazy, pathetic attempt to trick people into paying for garbage. And the worst part? Apple approved this. That means someone at Apple looked at this steaming pile and thought, “Yeah, this is good enough for our users.” Either they didn’t care, or they saw a chance to profit off of deception. Either way, it’s a disgrace. Apple claims to protect its users, to vet every app, to hold a higher standard than the open Android ecosystem. That’s a lie. If this is what’s getting greenlit, then the App Store is just as much of a scam playground as the worst corners of Android. You’re not safeguarding users — you’re exploiting their trust. Anyone involved in approving this app should be ashamed. For the ones who said it doesn’t work you can buy a real vein scanner there around 5k. Gotta work what you got lol.. the only thing I would like to see improved is better instruction or an explanation on how it’s actually supposed to be used. Otherwise it’s awesome!!! ### 5/5 — Great App 100% *2023-12-11, version 1.0.2* All these reviews are more than a year old so I thought I’ll give my thoughts, just installed this app and I saw my veins and this is the part that made me trust the app, I have a vein that runs down my arm and forearm at first I thought it was just a straight vein, but I discovered it has 2 branches of vein, the straight vein being the trunk, I thought that the trunk didn’t runoff anywhere and was just a straight vein and then I started looking closer to where the app said it was and then I saw them by paying really close attention, keep in mind the branches where way lighter than the trunk, my veins do not bulge at all so I just rely on seeing the green lines I usually see under my skin. I recommend this app 100% Useful for when you need it, not sure when you’ll need it though, if your a nurse your taught how to find a vein without any equipment. ### 5/5 — This app works great *2023-04-05, version 1.0.1* I’m very experienced at starting IVs.This app is just a helpful tool for the difficult sticks. It has allowed me find veins that I otherwise couldn’t get on my own. Some kind of imaging processing allows you to visualize veins you can’t see with the naked eye.
