### 1/5 — Wasted my money

This app doesn’t work, there are more fraudulent apps on iOS than android, please don’t be a victim, save your money

### 1/5 — Do not buy

I am a nurse and this does not work.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

Please don’t buy it’s waste of money

### 1/5 — Save Your Money & AVOID

*2022-01-10*

App is worthless (as I suspected). It doesn’t detect a SINGLE vein, just makes your hand red. Wish I could attach the crummy photos it takes.

On top of being worthless for finding veins, the app steals from you. The app was listed as $16.99, but I was charged $24.99. I’ll be filling a formal complaint with Apple on this one.

**Developer response:** Hi DaBunkster,
I’m sorry you didn’t find it helpful - this app is really meant to be a permanent option for people using VeinScanner Pro who don’t want to continue paying for a subscription. I didn’t anticipate people purchasing who had not at least tried the free trial first. I’m sorry that I can’t just grant you a refund directly. Hopefully Apple has been able to do so. I’m not sure what to make of the pricing discrepancy - the prices are displayed and charged entirely by Apple. Did you ever get this squared away?

### 1/5 — Too dark

Over priced, waste of money

### 5/5 — Great

Update:

The more I use this app the more I’m amazed and all my co-workers think it’s awesome too (they won’t be buying it because I’m the only person in my clinic who draws blood).

In response to the developer, after using this I do think $10 is absolutely worth it and glad I bought this. As for the controls, I’m finding it a hit or miss on when to adjust the sensitivity, if I should have the flashlight on all the time or when needed and when I move my phone over one arm and switch to the other to see if there is better veins the screen goes black (I feel this is a me error/issue) I just close the app and re-open it.

I also work at a hospital part time and will be showing this to everyone.

I pride myself in my draws but when I get sketchy veins this is going to make my life and my patients life soooooo much better.

As you all can tell I was iffy about buying this let me reassure you it is worth the money and this app is 100X better then the veinseekpro app.

Older:

First bought veinseekpro which worked pretty well. Saw this one gritted my teeth about paying the $10 for it but I am surprised. Right off the get go used it for a difficult patient and worked nicely. I must say it is a little confusing using the controls and what angle to hold to get a good picture but that will take time. I will give 5 stars later after I’ve used it more.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review! Can I ask 1) what you think a fair price would be for this app? and 2) what particular parts of the controls you found confusing or wanted more explanation about?

Edit: Thank you very much for your detailed feedback!

### 5/5 — Interesting technology
