## What is Vela Date?

Dating without disclaimers.

Vela is a modern dating app for people living with STDs and chronic conditions — herpes (HSV-1 and HSV-2), HPV, HIV, hepatitis, and more. Here, your status is never
the headline. It's simply part of you. Meet people who already understand, so the hardest conversation is one you never have to start.

  WHY VELA

  • Real people, verified faces — every profile passes face verification. No bots, no catfishing, no fake accounts.
  • Condition-aware privacy — you decide who sees your health status: everyone, matches only, or no one. Change your mind anytime.
  • Private by design — your health information is end-to-end encrypted. Not even we can read it.
  • No stigma, no judgment — a community built on empathy, honesty, and real connection.

  FEATURES

  • Discover and match with people near you
  • Private, secure chat with your matches
  • Share your status on your own terms — never forced, never public by default
  • AI Avatar Studio — create stylized profile art for when you're not ready to show your face
  • Granular control over your photos, profile, and data

  PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT

We don't sell data. We don't run ads. Vela is funded entirely by subscriptions, so our only job is to serve you — not advertisers. Your health data is encrypted with
  keys only you hold.

  VELA PREMIUM

Vela is free to use — discovering, matching, and chatting are always free. Upgrade to Vela Premium for unlimited likes, to see who already likes you, photo messages,
  AI avatar generation, and undo.

Monthly, 3-month, and 6-month plans available. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is
turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
