## What is Vela?

Vela is a game that teaches you to read candlestick charts.

Every round shows a chart frozen right before it moves. You have a few seconds to call it: up, down or no signal. Then the next candles fall one by one and you see what really happened.

PLAY
• Quick games of five charts, with a clock that gets shorter as you level up.
• A demo account with 10,000 in virtual money that moves with every call, like a practice account.
• A Trading IQ that rises and falls with your reads, and 50 levels to climb.

LEARN
• 39 patterns in five units: price structure, volume, RSI, confluence and moving averages.
• Every chart comes with its explanation drawn on top of it.
• Market mode: real charts from eight cryptocurrencies, with the outcome that actually happened.
• Point the camera at a chart to see how closely it matches a pattern.

COMPETE
• The daily challenge: ten charts a day, the same for everyone.
• Leaderboards with your friends, your country and the world, through Game Center.
• Challenge a friend with a chart, and share cards and clips of your best reads.

Five home screen widgets and a Play button for Control Center keep your account one glance away.

Vela is a game for learning to read charts. The money is virtual and can't be bought, sold or exchanged. Nothing in the app is financial advice.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-20

• New 8 PM reminder, only on days you haven't opened the app. Turn it on after a game or in Settings.
• Trade: practice with real crypto and forex prices using your demo account, with stops, targets and lines drawn on the chart.
• Improvements and fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-19

What's new in 1.1

• Real market: five real crypto charts (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and more, in 1h, 4h and 1D) with the outcome already known. Read them, decide, and see what really happened.
• Indicators on demand: in Real market and Trade, turn on volume, RSI, moving averages, Bollinger Bands or MACD. Your choice is remembered.
• Trade: your demo account with live crypto and forex prices. Buy or sell, set a stop and a target, and draw on the chart. Virtual money only.
• Two new games: Two futures (one past, two endings: spot the real one in 10 seconds) and Find the pattern (tap where the pattern hides in an 84-candle chart).
• Your account in detail: tap the curve on Home to see 24H, 48H, 7D, 14D, 1M, 3M or All, and pinch to zoom.
• Many more charts: patterns now come with what happened before them and a less regular rhythm, and every player gets their own sequence.
• Fixes: the level-up screen no longer cuts off its text, the last tutorial step shows your three tests, and some challenge links no longer close the app.
