## What is Velbus Signum?

The Signum app, in combination with the Signum IoT Gateway, allows you to operate your Velbus Home Automation installation from your smartphone or tablet. 

With the Signum you can: 

- operate your Velbus Home Automation system, wherever you are (*) 
- consult and adjust the status of your lighting, shutters, thermostats, etc. 
- have the exact time regularly retrieved from the internet so that your Velbus installation always runs perfectly on time 
- use the VelbusLink configuration software via LAN (incl. Wifi), Internet(*), and USB 


Upon first use of the app a complete dashboard is automatically created for your Velbus installation. Using the intuitive widgets you can immediately operate and view all your devices. If you want to adjust this dashboard, you can configure it completely according to your wishes. You can also create additional users and create a separate dashboard for each.

Het systeem is goed. De app is echt niet handig in gebruik. Je kan hier niets instellen, wijzigen,… alles moet via pc gebeuren en ook daar is het geen vlot programma. 
Voor een systeem met zo een prijskaartje zou de app zo goed als alles moeten kunnen aanpassen.

De lichten, screens en dimmen werkt. Op zich het minste wat verwacht mag worden lijkt me. Zeker gezien de aankoopprijs mag er meer ambitie/return zijn naar de klanten toe.

To do: 
- meerdere accounts per gezin mogelijk (nu logt de ene de andere uit van op elk z’n gsm, super vervelend! Alle onze andere huisapps hebben dit niet!
 - er is geen enkele configuratie mogelijk via de app; als is het maar de mogelijkheid om verschillende sferen te creëren of timing van screens op en neer te laten
- vaak nog bugs dat licht aan is volgens de app, als dat niet zo is in huis

We zijn enorme fan van onze touchscreens in huis, het contrast met de basic app is erg groot.

Zeer teleurstellend. Redelijk duur systeem, dus verwacht je ook wel een App die veel mogelijkheden biedt. Enkel AAN/UIT (bediening) is te beperkt. Graag de mogelijkheid om te programmeren via App zoals automatisch aan vanaf bepaald tijdstip, enkel automatische werking tijdens een bepaalde periode (zoals vakantie),… Nu moet bijna zo goed als alles via de PC gedaan worden.

Is dit het beste wat jullie kunnen maken voor het aansturen van een duur systeem? Hebben jullie dit getest, ook voor iOS? Een gammele app met vrijwel geen functionaliteiten... Meer bugs en ontbrekende opties dan positieve punten. Teleurstellend. Tijd om op zoek te gaan naar creatieve en competente developers.
