### 3/5 — Apple Watch support

*2026-06-19, version 4.5.3*

You must have your phone on you if you’re using your Apple Watch with the bike (Tempo), which defeats the purpose for me. Please add development efforts to make the Apple Watch usable as a heart rate monitor without needing to have the phone with you.

### 3/5 — No km/h

*2026-04-30, version 4.5.3*

Nice app, but there is no km/h option for Canada. Developer, please fix this

### 2/5 — Mapping Function Inop

*2026-03-27, version 4.5.2*

I have two Velotric T1ST commuter/fitness ebikes. Both connect to the app easily and the settings function as they should. The problem is with the mapping functionality. At first it seems like it will track my ride, but it doesn’t. Not once. I’d rather mapping not be a function of the app if it’s not going to work. Since settings are easy to access via the bike display, the app isn’t very beneficial in my opinion.

### 2/5 — Connection issues

*2026-03-11, version 4.5.2*

can’t connect to internet with the app. Can’t login. And My rides not syncing properly

### 2/5 — T1

*2026-01-09, version 4.5.1*

I wish Velotric just created a T1 bike that didn’t need to have an app pairing. The amount of times that the app has unpaired from the bike and doesn’t pair back easily is countless and makes the whole experience of owning one rather negative. A simple on/off button on the T one would’ve sufficed.

### 2/5 — Many bad features

*2025-11-28, version 4.5.1*

After using this app and riding my Discover 2 for 10 months, here is what I have experienced so far:
Auto light is worthless- lights turn on way after road is dark, then when there is a little ambient light they turn off again.
My cruise control on 4 occasions decided to automatically try to accelerate past the speed I tried to lock on to. As for service , I asked them where the light sensor was located so I could add a neutral density cover to make it turn on earlier, they sent me a photo of a different model bike’s display. As for the cruise failure I was told to videotape the bike, so either I buy a clamp to hold my camera , or I ride with 1 hand steering . And the app says it locks the bike, they don’t tell you that applies to a different model.

### 2/5 — Missing Features

*2025-09-07, version 4.4.1*

The description claims the Velotric bikes can be locked or unlocked via a phone. This is a terrific feature if it actually existed. I can find no place in the app where it even references a lock.

### 3/5 — Cannot login to my account.

*2025-08-11, version 4.4.1*

Had trouble logging in. Had an account on their website. Thought it would use the same account. It’s a separate account for the app.

### 3/5 — Some functionality works

*2025-07-16, version 4.4.1*

You can set the bike settings and the map route is logged correctly but the number of miles traveled is often well underestimated, like the distance is 0.1 miles. Thankfully the Apple Watch app works and that correctly works out the distance travelled so I recommend using that rather than this app.

### 2/5 — Not compatible with some iPhones

*2025-06-29, version 4.4.1*

I downloaded the app on an iPhone SE 3rd generation. The layout is oversized for the screen and doesn’t scroll up & down. It cuts out on the “create your account “ and can’t roll it up to “sign in” It works on the other iPhone, however, this SE 3rd generation is my backup device to attach to bike for taking abuses (shocks, drops & vibrations) and preserve my newer phone.

### 1/5 — App

*2025-05-22, version 4.3.5*

This app installs on an old android phone that only has access to wifi but of no use for locking bike. App installs on iPhone but only comes up with “create account”. Cannot scroll up or down to see if there is a choice for “sign in” - because I already created account.

### 1/5 — Makes the bike unrideable

*2025-05-18, version 4.3.5*

The fact that you spend close the $2000 on a bike but it’s the app that won’t allow you to connect to it, so you can’t ride it is the most insulting part of this whole experience. You can get Any APP company to make a better app (why because I’m in tech and can do it myself for free) for an app that has this amount of connection issues. I would be crying if I wasn’t laughing at myself for how stupid I was for not rereading up on the connective issues. I’ve never felt so heartbroken and taken advantage of. Shame on you

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-07-11, version 4.5.3*

This APP SUCKS. NEVER CONNECTS ALWAYS SAYS NETWORK ISSUES.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t seem to work

*2026-07-11, version 4.5.3*

I have two folds…. The app won’t let me add the 2nd bike. Trying to set the app up again and it freezes

### 1/5 — Ugh

*2026-07-05, version 4.5.3*

Won’t let me set up bike. Network error. Not real happy with this company right now

### 1/5 — stopped working

*2026-07-05, version 4.5.3*

says log in. cannot log in. now cannot use app at all.

### 1/5 — Error first try

*2026-07-04, version 4.5.3*

Can’t even log into app. Got an email code. But no password or way to use it.

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2026-06-24, version 4.5.3*

It shows I’m connected but fails to ever let me do anything. When I go to the connect to app on my bike screen it just comes up with the barcode. Horrible app

### 1/5 — No km/hr Setting

*2026-06-15, version 4.5.3*

How can there NOT be an option to switch units from imperial to metric in Canada!! Please fix!!!

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2026-02-18, version 4.5.2*

Very unreliable. Doesn’t connect. Poor customer service. Should have purchased a different brand.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-12-07, version 4.5.1*

I can’t even create an account!

### 1/5 — Absolutely worthless

*2025-06-07, version 4.4.0*

I went for 1 hour bike ride. Started at 6:54 ended at 8:03. App tracks trip time 0:11:47. I rode 23 miles. App tracked 1.4miles. The map shows my actual route the entire time, pretty impressive that it can’t calculate that distance.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome features!

*2026-07-18, version 4.5.3*

Pairing the bike to the app is extremely easy and seamless. Once paired you have access to all setting of your bike. Much easier changing from the app than from the actual bike. Everything can be adjusted with the tap of a button, not to mention it records the mileage of each ride and shows on a map where you’ve been which is pretty cool. Also has a section to provide software updates so the bike continues to work great; most bike brands require you to take it to a dealer to use a special tool so being able to do it on my own is cool.

### 5/5 — Fixed a Glitch

*2026-07-07, version 4.5.3*

I wasn’t going to install the app but it was needed to update the bikes software. Installation and updating went off without a hitch, and now the battery is charging normally.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2026-06-06, version 4.5.3*

Works great for updates to my bike.

### 5/5 — Works great in May of 2026

*2026-05-25, version 4.5.3*

5 stars from me. Quite a few bad reviews here, but maybe they are old because I just got my bike and the app connected with no issues and works flawlessly. It offers a lot of functionality. Love the app and love my bike.

### 5/5 — Bad app

*2026-04-19, version 4.5.3*

This is app doesn’t even open to the offered choices!

### 5/5 — Why all the negative reviews?

*2026-01-15, version 4.5.1*

It works well and does everything advertised. Easy to set up and a nice addition to the bike.

### 5/5 — No problem connecting; works

*2025-06-06, version 4.4.0*

The paperwork that comes with the bike tells you exactly how to get this thing set up. I followed those instructions and had no problem connecting, registering the warranty, and connecting the bike to Apple Find My. Also, you don’t appear to HAVE to have the app to ride the bike; it just makes it even more intuitive to change the settings. I’m no tech bro, but seems like a pretty functional app to me.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-05-17, version 4.1.0*

Does exactly what it should do.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2023-07-21, version 3.1.5*

This app is great and user friendly. Displays all of the necessary info and is easy to connect to.

### 4/5 — Fix needed

*2026-04-18, version 4.5.3*

Your app is good enough, but note that its hardcoded in mph which is not desirable. Theres an option to switch parameters of the bike to kph, but it only applies to the bike settings not the app data fix that!
