## What is VELscope Mantis?

VELscope Mantis pairs with the VELscope Mantis handheld device to capture and organize oral mucosal examination images on iPhone.
Built for the dental operatory, the app gives clinicians a fast way to capture images chairside, review them, and keep them attached to the patient's documentation instead of relying on a written note alone.

FEATURES
Direct image capture from the VELscope Mantis handheld device
White light and fluorescence visualization image capture
Side-by-side image review
Patient organized image libraries
Export and share for inclusion in the patient record
Secure on-device storage

DOCUMENTATION THAT CARRIES FORWARD
An oral mucosal examination is easier to act on when it is visual. Images captured at one appointment can be reviewed against images captured at a later visit, giving the clinician a documented visual reference over time. Photo documentation also supports patient conversations, giving the patient something to see rather than something to be told.

BUILT ON THE VELSCOPE PLATFORM
VELscope technology has been used in dental practices worldwide for oral mucosal examination and fluorescence visualization, supported by an extensive peer-reviewed publication base. VELscope Mantis brings that platform to a handheld form factor paired with the device you already carry.

REQUIREMENTS
A VELscope Mantis device is required to use this app. The app is intended for use by dental and healthcare professionals.
VELscope Mantis is an oral mucosal examination and fluorescence visualization tool.
