Non-Stop App issues. *2026-07-15, version 50.0.3* Love Velvet Taco. Do not love the inconsistent App/reward/delivery issues. Staff sometimes love you with a great tip. Sometimes they wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. Tipping may make it worse. Maybe it makes it better. I sorta just show up and hope that my information isn’t sold to the highest bidder and I leave with a saliva-free dinner. Not sure what else to do as a consumer. Had I of known that, I would have ate at home. But this isn’t the first incident of having app issues. I’ve often tried to place orders ahead of time and the app glitches up, or I have to enter my card multiple times. I had a $50 gift card here and the only thing we could purchase that didn’t have those awful ingredients were kids items-which were sub-par. I’ve had better kid items at chilis and Applebees. Foods incredible but the app suckssssss. Pretty expensive too but just good enough to be worth it every now and then. ### 1/5 — The App is the worst! *2026-07-25, version 53.1.0* … when I had a reward, it would disappear (before redeeming) it had like 2-3 times . And the system didn’t sync up with the computer at the cash register, meaning the cashier would just tell me it’s not there, when I had it on the app. It happened many times! ( Reward’s disappeared before redemption ) Food is great. the App is a joke! ### 1/5 — Error validating basket - unable to place orders. *2026-07-21* When trying to push mobile orders thru there’s an “uh oh! Error validating basket” error that prevents you from being able to submit orders. This destroys the whole point of ordering ahead and makes Velvet Taco more of a chore to order from. Additionally in the past the app kept “rejecting” my order and when I changed the card and tried it took; however when I got to the restaurant it turned out it actually took the card it “rejected” And I now had two orders. Fix these system glitches. I wish yall would make the two tacos + nachos + drink a permanent deal too in addition to the current $10 offer. The economy we are in eve everyone’s prioritizing savings and deals so this is how you stay in the game! ### 1/5 —  substandard produce *2026-06-29, version 50.0.3* The staff was great. I go to this location all the time sometimes when what a week, this was the only time where part of the food was in edible. The avocado was so hard that nobody could eat it and we had to throw it away on each of the four tacos. ### 1/5 — App SUCKS *2026-06-08, version 50.0.3* Positive comments here seem to be mostly about the food (it's good), but the app absolutely sucks. For some reason, you have to add a credit card repeatedly, then still get a failure at checkout. Online or with the app, they want you to tie your credit card to the restaurant for rewards. If you don't, you gave to upload a receipt, but you're also asked to key in the credit card and the app trias to save it. In the time it takes to mess with this app or website, you could walk over, order, and be home again. I will avoid all of the restaurants that use this platform for this reason. Toast is 100 times better and gives less errors. I’ve tried 8 times to go through the app to place an order and it’s not letting me choose u city and state. I love in Nashville Tennessee and it’s sending me to a store in Atlanta, Georgia. Fix this! ### 1/5 — Broken app *2026-04-09* I’m supposed to unlock my free queso by storing my credit card info on their system (no thanks). They can find me via my cellphone # and gave me the queso (yay on them). But after a week this app shows I still have one available. At the restaurant they show I’ve already used it (which correct). I’ve visited Velvet Taco several times but none of my purchases get me points. I uploaded a picture of one of the receipts, which was recognized, but it also generated 0 pts. So no pts for me and the reward system is broken. Great food.
