I also looked at videos for apps to watch anime but they all led to websites, but then I stumbled to this app and it’s a lot better then crunchy roll and the websites. I really like that you can watch a whole anime without paying, and also the ads are not really bad. But I give it a 4 star because of the subtitles. Also one more thing I been wanting to find Venbox pro but I can’t find it on my Purchases or in the store. But I still have venbox pro on my phone because I think it’s a little better then venbox pro max. But good app👍👍 ### 4/5 — It’s a great app but… *2023-12-22* As the title suggest it’s a really good app but what stops me from giving it a full 5 stars is that there are some bugs that need to be fixed. The most annoying thing to me is when I press on a certain anime to watch and it’s says that it’s unable to play. And then on top of that some of the subtitles don’t translate in some of the shows besides those 2 problems this app is great. If those 2 problems could be fixed that would be great. ### 4/5 — TOO MUCH ADS! *2023-12-20* So I have to admit this app is pretty cool it has free anime’s but every 5 minutes into the episode I’m watching an ads comes and then when I accidentally leave the app and come back there’s at least a 30 seconds ad that will play if you leave and come back when you open the app in 5 seconds an ad comes when your done with the episode and bring and new one there is a 30 second ad! ### 4/5 — Subtitles are kinda bad *2023-12-19* honestly this app is amazing you get to watch a bunch of anime’s for free with just some ads it’s a dope app the only thing i don’t like about it is the subtitles, the subtitles are just pure white letters which wouldn’t seem bad but it kinda is since it doesn’t have the black outline around the words when the screen goes certain bright colors you can’t see the subtitles that well. Honestly if they just fixed this and added PiP it would be the best app on the app store. ### 4/5 — It’s trying its best. *2023-11-11* I love the variety in content you can watch from the app, it’s very cool. However like other reviews have said, the subtitles are delayed and the coloring choice is sketchy. They can disappear in some scenes due to it being a white shade. I also wish the seasons were all together under their respective names. If youd add the border or a way to customize the subtites it would be five stars! ### 4/5 — Great but needs work *2023-07-14* This app is pretty cool, it has massive ranges of all anime but there are some things they can work in like improving there app-subtitles/cc. For example the app-subtitles that auto translate is all white so it can be hard to see in some scenes, and also how it prioritizes the onomatopoeia more than the actual words the character’s are saying. But that’s the only thing I find wrong with this app, I mean yeah the ads can be pretty annoying but the subscription is so cheap I wouldn’t mind buying it. ### 3/5 — Great deal!! *2023-07-12* This is honestly and amazing app for movies and anime its really great!! But one thing is it has like ads 5-10 minutes but overall it gets the job done and honestly its better than Crunchyroll. And its has a free plan which makes it EVEN BETTER!!!! Too many commercials so I opted to go premium. However, did not realize that this was only accessible with the app and not able to watch on a browser or another device to continue watching else where. If that changes this would be amazing. Subtitles overlap. Some of the episodes have Chinese subtitles embedded so when I put on subs they overlap making it impossible to read. An option to shift the subtitle position would greatly improve this. White subtitles are extremely difficult to read. Ability to change color and size of subtitles would be amazing enhancement. The controls are a bit immature. Very difficult to pause as you have to press this very tiny button on bottom that does not always register. Making it larger or more convenient you just pause on press of screen would be helpful. To fast forward or rewind you have to drag on screen which is very sensitive so you other fast forward minute past or back beyond where you intended. A dedicated button to skip forward or back to rewatch scene is greatly needed. They seem to have a feedback page but I’ve yet to get any type of response. A copy/receipt of what feedback I sent would at least make me feel like there is a possibility of improvement. Just lie to me so I feel better. There is a cast option… but when casting the subtitles stay on the casting device. Meaning the show continues on the device you are casting to, but if you want to read subtitles. You have read that off your phone. What’s the point than? Fixing this would be nice. Apparently you can add series to your play list but no way to actually way to identify your play list. Just adds and no way to see the playlist. So maybe I missed the point for this one. The ability to view or edit your play and continue where you left off be a good start. Good to see a lot of anime’s in one place. But now I’m facing a serious issue that I want to warn other users about and hopefully get out of. I paid for the premium once actually multiple times and it did provide the service for the app without much of an issue. Nevertheless after Coming off of a payment that was late I paid the app my debt which was around $5 since the app had glitched in my monthly subscription. After paying that debt the app then wants to steadily charge me more and now has locked my App Store purchases on my phone. I can’t download any apps nor purchase anything online because the app wants extra money because the app glitched in my monthly subscription. While I do address that it is my fault in some regard I also don’t want to pay extra money for no subscription no premium just a random glitch in the system. Which is disappointing because I was watching jitsu Kaisen season two and i stoped for a couples day waiting for new episodes and then it wouldn’t let me watch it. I don’t know what’s going on lol.
