## What is Venezuelan Dominoes?

Up for a game? Venezuelan dominoes: four seats, two teams, and the first team to 100 wins. No ads, and the computer never sees your tiles.

WITH YOUR FRIENDS, WHEREVER THEY ARE
Host a table and the app gives you a four-letter code and a link. Send it or read it out, and whoever opens it sits down with you. Any chair nobody takes can go to the computer.
• Everyone sees the same line, the same scores and the same end-of-hand sheet.
• At the end of each hand you see the tiles every chair still held, and the sums that make the points.
• Every player has a color, and each tile on the table is edged in the color of whoever laid it. You can change that in Settings.
• Put the phone down mid-hand and your chair waits for you.
• If someone steps away, the computer plays for them after a time you choose.
• When the match ends, tap Play again and the same players sit back down.
• Others can watch the table without seeing anyone's hand.

ON YOUR OWN
Each chair has its own level: Beginner, Club or Expert. The computer keeps track of what has been played, notices which suits you have run out of, and plays for its partner. It never sees your tiles. It plays only from what a person in its chair could see, and the deal is random.

THE RULES OF THE HOUSE
Twenty-eight tiles, seven each. No boneyard. If you cannot play, you pass. The double six opens the first hand, or you draw for it if you prefer. Go out and your team scores what is left in the two hands across from you. Your partner's tiles do not count. A blocked hand goes to the team with fewer pips. If the other side ends the match without a point, it is a shutout.
You pick the target: 50, 100, 200 or any number you like.

1 ON 1 AND THREE
For when there are not four of you, against the computer: head to head or three-handed. These modes have a boneyard, and you draw from it when you have nothing to play.

EVERY HAND, PLAYED BACK
Your history keeps each match hand by hand. Open any hand and step through it move by move, with every tile face up. Replays and your record of matches and hands won are free.

MAESTRO (OPTIONAL ONE-TIME PURCHASE)
One payment adds Maestro to your replays. It marks the moves where it would have played another tile and tells you why, using only what you could see at that moment. It also adds Your play with your numbers in depth, the partners you win with most, your trends over time, and how often you played like Maestro.

YOUR TABLE
Change the wood, the felt, the tiles, the pips, the backs and the ink on the score sheet. Some pieces are free. Others are sold one by one, in sets, or all together in the Complete collection, which includes every piece added to the shop later. Try any of them in a practice hand before you buy.

OTHER DETAILS
• In English and Spanish.
• Portrait and landscape.
• Large text and VoiceOver. Tiles and chairs are read out in words.
• The sound of tiles on wood, and haptics you can turn off.
• One tap lifts a tile and lights every end it fits. A second tap plays it, or you can drag it. The app never picks an end for you.

YOUR PRIVACY
No advertising, no tracking and no third-party code. Playing on your own, your phone sends nothing except a few anonymous usage counts, which you can turn off in Settings. At a table with friends, your phone sends the name you typed, a random identifier and the state of the hand. The server deletes each table seven days after its last move.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-27

- Online: leave the app and come back, and you're straight back at your table, in the same hand. Arrive at a table that has already started, and you watch the match instead of waiting.
- While you watch a match, the screen stays on, and you're told when everyone has left the table.
- New end card: "What was left" folds away, your partner shows by name, and there is one "I'm in" vote. Once everyone votes, the next match starts in 5 seconds.
- Close the app in the middle of a match, and you'll find it in Your matches to carry on.
- Your tiles stay lit while others play. On your turn, only the ones you can't play dim.
- Your matches: months fold, and this month sums up played, won and best run.
- Online names take emoji and flags. A long name shows the first name instead of being cut off.
- Maestro gives fewer, better tips, and the computer blocks smarter.
- Clearer buttons: you now leave a table with "Leave the table".
- Fixes: tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl tiles no longer cover the pips. Typing a custom points target fast could save the wrong number. On the iPhone Duo, the Match score sheet no longer opens small.
