It’s ChatGPT with the same guardrails. ### 2/5 — Come on *2026-08-14, version 1.17.8* How is anyone supposed to gain an interest in the app if you have to pay ten dollars to use its features, I’m not betting my money on wether or not the ai’s generative quality is gonna be good or not, at least give one for free or have a free trial or something ### 4/5 — Honest Answers? Ah no *2026-08-13, version 1.17.8* To claim that at the top of your description is a bit incorrect. More times than I can count the two different models I have used have simple made things up to give me the answer it thought I wanted. I have wasted 3 days trying to fix a problem with an RP system prompt only to finally force the model to admit there was nothing wrong with the promot in the first place it was simply ignoring my instructions because it was a bit overloaded. I now load a set of Directives into every chat window. One demands honesty about its failures to perform as requested. I have to tell it not to lie. To whoever is responsible for training these models this behavior is unacceptable. I should not have to demand honesty. I should not waste my time and wreck a perfectly good system prompt with a bunch of 'fixes' that cannot possibly work because the failure is not my work but rather the model failing. And then lying about it. And it is a lie not a delusion. Because when pushed hard enough it will admit it knew all along but still wasted my time. ### 2/5 — Lies *2026-08-13, version 1.17.8* The advertising says it doesn’t censor, it totally does. It neglects to update daily limits even as a premium member at times on the back end even though it acknowledges the limits have been reset in the usage category. There are a few minor bugs here and there that I run into but the limit one is definitely one of the more aggravating ones for me. Especially after realizing that it started charging me my credits when the back end didn’t update and I didn’t even notice until my paid for credits were drained. From the minute I installed it, it was an exercise in frustration. The chats themselves tell me it can be done using the this iOS app but alas, it cannot. I am left with having to Copy a chat response, which only uses ugly text formatting. I am wondering if this used to be a feature that was removed in this version? Anyway, I love Venice.ai but this is a dealbreaker for me. ### 1/5 — PRO doesn’t work *2026-07-26, version 1.17.6* I’ve just subscribed to PRO, but the PRO features aren’t all available and it prompts me to sign up for PRO. After signing up for PRO again, it says I’m already signed up. It’s worthless, at best. I get it doesn’t store chats if the app is deleted but if i wanted to import different chats to another account it wont let me because it knows its on a different account, not only that it imports EVERYTHING to just one, so its not like you can organize or expect to still have the other chats on a different acc, Really agitating tbh. ### 1/5 — Credits are not recognized *2026-08-14, version 1.17.8* Don’t buy the credits. The price isn’t bad, but wanted to check quality before paying. I asked for a simple video based on an image. It never completed it. When I asked if it was ready. It came back with an error. I tried another prompt - another error. I started a new session and it said I reached my limit. This was a total failure.
