## What is Venice Tide?

Visualizza in tempo reale l’esondazione di marea.
Sulla mappa vengono evidenziate le pavimentazioni bagnate dall’alta marea a Venezia. In ROSSO coloriamo i tratti di Calli e Campi bagnati in caso di acqua alta, il tutto in tempo reale. L’applicazione è lo strumento ideale per non rimanere bloccati di fronte ad una calle sommersa dall’acqua ed arrivare a destinazione senza bagnarsi. Venice Tide è la mappa aggiornata in tempo reale delle “strade” veneziane bagnate in presenza dell'evento di acqua alta.
A partire dagli 80 cm alcuni punti di Piazza San Marco vengono coperti dall'acqua rendendoli inacessibili. L'applicazione legge il valore di marea pubblicato dal Centro Previsioni e Segnalazioni Maree del Comune di Venezia.
Il valore rilevato e la conseguente colorazione delle strade considera l'eventuale attivazione del MOSE (le barriere mobili per la protezione dalle acque alte).
