## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-16

This release is about speed, and about never losing work you've already done.

FASTER, AND EASIER ON YOUR BATTERY
The Field Service dashboard, the CRM dashboard and the calendar were refreshing over and over in the background — even while you were just sitting on the screen looking at them. That's fixed. Those screens are now idle when you're idle, which means noticeably less battery drain and a lot less mobile data on a long day in the field. The pull-to-refresh spinner also stops when it's finished, instead of spinning indefinitely.

YOUR WORK STAYS PUT
• Diagnostics readings no longer vanish. Tapping over to Parts or Checklist while you were entering refrigerant pressure, temp split or amps used to wipe everything you'd typed, with no warning at all. Your readings are now kept when you move between tabs, and the app asks before you leave a job with unsaved ones.
• Edits made offline can no longer be overwritten by an older copy. If a change was still waiting to sync and you edited the same job again, the earlier version could quietly win and your newer note would disappear. The most recent edit now wins.
• The Estimates tab keeps your search text and status filter when you come back to it, instead of resetting every time.

JOB TIMES ARE CORRECT
Start times on the Jobs list now show in your company's time zone and include the minutes. A 9:30 AM job displayed as "9 AM" for everybody, and displayed the wrong hour entirely for anyone whose phone was set to a different time zone than the office. The Jobs list now agrees with the job detail screen, the dispatch board and the calendar.

QUOTES AND PROPOSALS
• Equipment quantities are preserved. Opening a proposal that had two units on a line and saving it used to reset that line to one — quietly halving the total the customer had been quoted.
• The repair pricebook now shows the price the quote line will actually use, labor included, rather than the raw part price. What you see while browsing is what lands on the quote.

SHARED PHONES AND TABLETS
Signing out now clears everything from the previous session. On a shared tablet, the next person to sign in could briefly see the previous user's clients, tasks and jobs before their own data finished loading. That no longer happens.

CUSTOMER PORTAL
• When something fails to load, your customers now get a clear message and a Try Again button, instead of being told they have no service history or no messages. A dropped signal no longer looks like an empty account.
• If a message fails to send, they're told. Previously it looked like it had gone through.
• Fixed the sign-in screen on smaller iPhones, where the back arrow could end up off-screen and the form could be cut off once the keyboard opened.

DISPATCH
Reassigning or rescheduling a job no longer appears to undo itself when a background refresh happens to land at the same moment.

IPAD
The job detail screen now uses the iPad's screen properly instead of stretching everything edge to edge, and job photos lay out in a real grid.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY
• Hardened how the app handles document links.
• Removed permission declarations the app never actually used. It now asks for camera, photo library, location and Face ID — and nothing else.
• Removed an internal developer screen that shouldn't have shipped.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
Smoother scrolling on the Clients and Customers lists, better contrast on primary buttons for readability in bright sunlight, and a proper in-app screen when a link points at a job or record that no longer exists — instead of a dead end you had to force-quit to escape.

Thanks for the reports that led to several of these. Keep them coming.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-12

This update corrects how appointment times are displayed, makes booking and
paying easier for your customers, and brings the app onto a newer, faster
foundation.

CORRECT APPOINTMENT TIMES, EVERYWHERE

Job start and end times now always display in your company's time zone, so the
time a technician sees in the field matches the time the office sees on the
schedule. Previously these times followed each phone's own time zone setting,
which meant a technician travelling between zones — or carrying a device set
incorrectly — could read a different arrival time than the one the office had
booked. Everyone now sees the same appointment.

EASIER BOOKING FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS

Requesting service from the customer portal now uses a standard calendar picker.
Customers previously had to type the date by hand in a specific format and were
shown a warning until they matched it. Choosing a day is now a single tap.

PAY AN APPROVED INVOICE RIGHT AWAY

When a customer approves an invoice in the portal, the secure payment link is now
ready immediately, so "Pay Online" appears the moment it is needed. Customers who
approved an invoice previously had to call in to pay it.

CLEARER, CALMER SCREENS

- Buttons that are not yet available — Send with an empty message, Save with no
amount entered — now appear dimmed, so it is obvious when the app is waiting on
you rather than the tap simply doing nothing.
- An empty pipeline stage now offers "New Deal" directly, matching the way Tasks
  and Expenses already work.
- Contacts created from an incoming text message no longer show the same phone
number twice in the client list.
- Equipment sales proposals now show their date, so two quotes for the same
customer at the same price can be told apart at a glance.

A FASTER, MORE SECURE FOUNDATION

The app has been rebuilt on the latest release of its underlying platform. This
brings performance and stability improvements throughout, keeps the app current
with the newest iOS releases, and includes the latest security updates.

Thank you for using VentoryCRM. If you run into anything that does not look
right, please get in touch — feedback from the field is what shapes each release.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-09

NEW
Request access without leaving the app
No account yet? Tap "Request access" on the sign-in screen, tell us about your company, and we'll set up your workspace. Downloading the app and finding a locked door was a dead end — now it isn't.

Invite your customers to the app
Open any customer and tap "Invite to the App" to text it, email it, or share it however you already talk to them. The invite includes the exact email address they need to sign in with, so nobody sits waiting on a code that was never going to arrive, and it covers customers on Android or a computer too.

Job addresses on the jobs list
Every job now shows its street address, not just the city — so you can tell six calls across town apart without opening each one. It uses the address set for that specific visit, so a customer with more than one property still routes to the right door.

Estimates and options as a PDF
View the estimate, or the good/better/best options, as a PDF right inside the work order — and share it with the customer without leaving the app.

Faster job photos
Photos now upload together instead of one after another. A full set of before-and-afters finishes in a fraction of the time.

FIXED
Turning on Face ID / fingerprint app lock now takes effect straight away instead of waiting for a restart.

Fixed a logo flash before the sign-in screen, and a Face ID prompt that appeared the moment after you had already signed in.

Save and Next buttons could sit off the bottom of the screen on longer forms, and the keyboard could cover the field you were typing in. Both fixed.

The customer sign-in screen now says what actually happens, including which email address a code can be sent to.
