Ocean currents and wave period come to the weather map, and you can now compare speed across rides. Currents A new Currents layer shows global ocean circulation from Copernicus Marine. Scrub or play the timeline to explore currents worldwide. Premium riders get the full forecast. This layer shows ocean circulation, not tides. Wave period A new Wave period layer colours swell period in seconds, with a tap readout. Switching between layers keeps the hour you were viewing. Layers menu Explore map layers with previews of each. The updated menu leaves more room for the map. Weather map Current and wave-period particles are brighter, with longer trails. Forecast frames load ahead of playback for smoother animation. Compare rides Activity details → Analysis lets you compare speed across sections of rides. Your saved recordings remain unchanged. Overlay full-session speed to compare rides and the gear used. Spot pages Spot pages now show the ocean gradient, with more evenly spaced actions, a clearer title, and an updated rating. Recording Phone recordings keep running while you navigate the app. Swiping back no longer leaves the recording screen by accident. Rider badges Rider badges now appear beside names in messages and feeds. Today The Today screen now features a daytime ocean gradient and a night sky. Widgets and session maps Forecast widgets now include a loading state and a retry option. Session maps better frame your track, including long rides. Map colours are scaled so a single GPS spike doesn’t turn the whole ride red.
