The first one got lost when my Apple Watch ran out of power. Strava would save the session properly for sync later but not Venturi. The second lost session was today when I ended my session late after 4 hours. I pressed and held the end session button properly but it never synced to my phone. Data loss is pretty unacceptable to me so I can give this app more than 3 stars, despite how much I like seeing my tack stats. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback – we completely agree that losing a session is unacceptable. Both of the cases that you mentioned have been fixed, including saving sessions when the recording device runs out of power and syncing after longer sessions. We're glad you enjoyed tack counts! We really appreciate you being an early user, and we hope to see you back on Venturi! ### 5/5 — No longer losing data! *2026-09-03* I previously gave this app 3 stars due to data loss when my watch would run out of battery and I lost accrued data in those sessions. The developer has addressed these issues, so I’m creating a new review to offset that one, thanks for addressing the problems! I love the social aspects like courses, leaderboards and being able to see and comment on my friends’ sessions. ### 5/5 — Best water sports app, hands down *2026-06-17* I’m not a huge app user, but I use this one pretty much every day. I love that it tells me what size to rig, the safety features really help put me at ease when my husband’s doing a session alone, and the social aspect is awesome. I feel like I can really maximize my time, and the features are practical and useful. Really nice session-tracking features. A surprisingly robust weather forecasting feature. A great way to get information about launches, figure out which gear to use and find buddies to sail with. **Developer response:** Favorite new app – we love to hear it! Venturi fixed that completely. The forecasts are spot-on, and I actually trust them now. You can see who's riding where and get real-time updates from other people at the spot. The spot guides helped me find new places to ride that I didn't even know existed. Just nice to have everything in one place instead of bouncing between different apps. If you do any wind sport, this app is essential. **Developer response:** This is exactly why we built Venturi!
