CRASHES FIXED • Fixed the crashes that could close the app while the Live Map was open. These were caused by map marker images being rebuilt continuously and never released, which pushed the app past its memory limit. • The app no longer blanks out when an unexpected error occurs. You now get a clear message and a "Try again" button, with your session preserved. A MUCH SMOOTHER MAP • Panning, zooming and following vehicles on the Live Map are dramatically smoother, including on large fleets. • Vehicle and cluster markers are only redrawn when something has actually changed, instead of several times a second. • Stationary vehicles no longer consume any drawing work at all. FREEZES FIXED • Fixed the long freeze that could occur when points of interest and geofences were switched on. All of them were being drawn at once, at every zoom level. • POIs now appear as you zoom in, and only the ones in view are drawn. MAP CONTROLS • The + zoom button now works reliably. • Vehicle groups separate correctly into individual vehicles as you zoom in. • Tapping a group of vehicles now zooms into it and splits it apart. BATTERY AND DATA • Several screens kept refreshing in the background after you navigated away from them. They now pause when not in view, which reduces battery drain and mobile data use. • The backup map engine is no longer loaded on devices that never use it. FASTER STARTUP • Removed unnecessary work from app launch, so the app becomes usable sooner. ### 2.6.0 — 2026-08-27 This update is all about the live map. • Vehicles no longer disappear when you zoom or pan quickly — the map keeps your fleet on screen through fast pinches and taps. • Blank markers now fix themselves. Expanding a cluster or switching between light and dark mode no longer leaves empty pins behind. • Sharper vehicle icons on every screen size. • The vehicle list and the map now agree on live status, speed and last update, and the list opens instantly. ### 2.4.0 — 2026-08-26 Live Map is now powered by the native Google Maps engine, giving you clearer road detail and faster panning and zooming. If a device can't run Google Maps, the app automatically falls back to a second map engine so tracking always works — no setup needed. LIVE MAP • Action buttons no longer overlap the map controls or the bottom bar, on any screen size • The vehicle card can be dragged open from anywhere on the card, not just the small handle • Spacing between the vehicle details, the stats row and the action buttons is now consistent • Vehicle and cluster icons stay a steady size while zooming instead of growing and shrinking • The map now follows your light or dark theme instead of the phone's system setting • Fixed a shaded strip that could remain at the top of the screen after leaving the map FLEET • Vehicles, Active and Alerts are now shown as cards, and Active and Alerts stay tappable filters • Improved vehicle telemetry and trip replay THROUGHOUT THE APP • Better contrast in the Menu tiles, KPI cards and charts, in both light and dark mode • Faster SIM card list and smoother tab bar animations • Clearer validation messages on forms • Various layout fixes for small and large screens ### 2.3.3 — 2026-08-11 • Map and vehicle controls now stay fully visible and tappable on every iPhone size.
