### 5/5 — Handy App for Verb Conjugations

*2025-11-29*

I love doing 50 words a day in preparation for my trip to Milano!

### 5/5 — Just what I needed!

*2025-09-21, version 1.6.0*

I’ve been learning Italian for a while now and although I have built up my vocabulary I have struggled to get to grips with tenses of verbs. The one off payment to open up the full range of the app is worthwhile too. Helps with both speaking and writing.

### 5/5 — Much better than Anki for me

*2025-09-13, version 1.6.0*

Just remember to put on the “type answer” function

### 5/5 — Hidden gem

*2025-06-15, version 1.6.0*

I’ve been searching for an app that focuses on conjugating verbs in Italian. Verbare is simple and effective.

### 5/5 — Best Italian practice App

*2025-06-14*

this is a great way to use time when waiting. It is even fun to play with other italian learners. I love this app. It is great practice....

### 5/5 — Excellent verb trainer

*2025-04-19, version 1.5.2*

I’ve tried several apps for Italian conjugation practice and this is my favourite. Simple and intuitive to use. I like that you can choose between entering or guessing the answer.

### 5/5 — Very helpful. Clear and simple.

*2025-03-24*

This is easy to use and I find very helpful in learning verb conjugations.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for learning conjugation

*2025-02-13*

This app is a great way to improve your conjugation ability. Suggestions for improvement include ability to select subsets of verbs, spaced repetition to reinforce harder forms and pronounciaton of displayed forms

### 5/5 — Great so far

*2025-01-31, version 1.5.2*

Just downloaded it tonight and already it is showing my weakness. I like that it also has pronunciation. Can definitely see me using it daily.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2024-12-10, version 1.5.2*

Really useful in my journey to learn Italian.. I paid the 5 quid. It’s worth it.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2024-11-27*

I don’t usually write reviews, but I really find this app very helpful and learning and reviewing conjugations. Definitely worth the money.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and helpful.

*2024-10-04, version 1.5.1*

That's it. What more need I say. Contented purchaser.

### 5/5 — Great practice

*2024-09-27*

I really like using this app to practice verb conjugations. It’s very helpful. You can isolate as many verb tenses as you like at a time. I like to practice just one for now as I’m just a beginner level.

### 5/5 — Super easy and very helpful

*2024-09-08*

Like flash cards, but all on my handheld. :)

### 5/5 — Very helpful and very challenging.

*2024-08-08, version 1.5.1*

An extremely useful tool to help speed up the process of remembering conjugations. Unlike other apps, which I use to learn the conjugations in order, the challenge with Verbare is that you don’t know which verb, tense or which personal pronoun will be asked for next. [As a beginner I have opted only for presente and passato prossimo tenses so far.]

### 5/5 — Perfect app for learning Italian verbs!

*2024-05-19, version 1.5.1*

Found this app today and finally I have some simple that works!
Choose the verbs you want to study (ideal if there’s particular vocabulary you need). Choose the tenses you want shown (again, handy for focusing on those you’ll use most frequently).
One off fee for lifetime usage!

One possible addition - practicing a single verb? I’d love it if I could just pick a verb and practice it as a one off. Then I could do special practice sessions with irregular verbs like andare, dare or sapere and not affect my pre-chosen list of verbs to practice.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — English tense form prompt needed

*2026-04-30*

I am enjoying using this app. However, it would be much more useful if the translated word was offered in the person and tense the prompt is indicating. For instance, instead of “think -
Pensare - voi - passato imperfetto- “you (pl) were thinking -pensare - would be much more useful.

### 3/5 — Why no gerundio?

*2025-03-21, version 1.5.2*

Seems like a pretty big miss.

### 4/5 — Why no congiuntivo imperfetto?

*2025-01-31, version 1.5.2*

This is a good app but why is the congiuntivo imperfetto not included in the pro version?

### 4/5 — Great app... Missing a few features

*2024-06-02*

This is a wonderful app. There's a few features I'd like to see before giving it 5 stars:

- the ability to hear the pronunciation of the verb on the flashcard without having to navigate to the list of verb conjugations (even some way to have it automatically pronounce upon revealing the answer).
- the ability to hide either the infinitive italian verb or its english translation to help practice learning those by heart.
- the ability to select a large group of verbs to practice without having to enable all verbs or disable all verbs (the app Conjugato has a great solution for that).

Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this app.

### 4/5 — Good app with one major failing

*2024-05-04*

Unless I am missing something, which is entirely possible, this app does not grade your progress like Anki or other spaced repetition systems. As a result, the app has no way to keep track of your progress other than rote repetition, over and over, until you decide to "exclude" a verb. This is unfortunate.

Other than that, it's among the best for simplicity and affordability.

If you'd rather be more efficient, look into Anki decks instead.

### 5/5 — My go to for Italian grammar

*2026-08-25*

I love this app, I use it constantly. The learning aspect of it is awesome but it’s also fantastic just as a reference guide. I think it’s the most helpful resource I’ve used for Italian grammar.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2026-08-22*

Low cost and creates a great practice routine.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-08-03, version 2.1.3*

Very useful app to drill conjugations!

### 5/5 — Hidden gem

*2026-06-27, version 2.1.3*

I’ve been searching for an app that focuses on conjugating verbs in Italian. Verbare is simple and effective.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and helpful.

*2026-06-11, version 2.1.3*

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-05-21, version 2.1.3*

I am finding this app extremely useful. Whenever I have five minutes to spare I practise verbs instead of scrolling! So simple and elegant, I have recommended it to everyone in my Italian class.
