### 3/5 — A useful app

*2011-11-09*

This app does help you to learn patterns of Italian verb conjugation. However, not all of the settings work, eg when you set it to test regular verbs irregular verbs sneak in. Will upgrade my rating if this is fixed

### 4/5 — Needs to be better organized

*2010-04-30*

Pretty good app with hundreds of verbs amd tenses...nothing to say about that. the only thing I dislike is the fact that the verbs are listed alphabetically order but only in Italian. if I'd like to learn a new verb i have to first reffer to a dictionary and them this app, find it and study. if they were in alphabetical order in English also, it would a llot better app and friendly user.

### 3/5 — Okay

*2010-03-20*

The new version doesn't work at all for me. It won't open. But it was a great app when I had the old version that actually worked. There were minor conjugation errors but overall a very useful app.

### 4/5 — Wonderful Learning Tool

*2009-12-01*

Absolutely a great aplication for learning. Best I have seen and I have spent a lot trying to master Italian. Only issues are:1, the condizionale cannot be selected. 2. several verbs are translated wrong. The worst is STARE: stay or stand rather than to be. minor gripes

### 4/5 — Great and Useful App

*2009-07-12*

Very useful App. Great because you can use it to practice diferent forms and groups of verbs and add verbs to My List to focus on the verbs you want to really learn.

This App would be the absolute perfect tool for learning Verbs if you could also look at the complete conjugataion of each verb to study before adding it to your verbs to be quizzed on. Not just the conjugation of the specific tense of the verb you have just been asked about.

### 5/5 — It's good but one thing

*2009-06-16*

A quality program. It's fairly flexible so you could study, for instance, only regular, -are verbs in present tense. But, there are a lot of verbs and tenses.
My only complaint is that you can not select a group of verbs you are interested in working with. You can choose one single verb or use every one they have. I don't want to waste my time learn a ton of verbs I won't use and I don't want to waste my time constantly going back to the menu to pick a new verb to study. I'd love to be able to pick 30 or 40 useful ones and be able to work on conjugating and on the meaning of the verbs.
Other than that, it is a useful and well-done program.

### 1/5 — What has happened

*2024-03-22*

An update for this App came a week ago and since then the App just disappears on both my iPhone and IPad every time I try to load it
It’s a great App, developers please solve

### 1/5 — App perma-crashes since update

*2019-09-06*

On iphone x the app permacrashes since today’s update. We have two, it does on both.

**Developer response:** Sorry about this! This bug has been fixed and the latest version works as it should. I apologize to all my loyal Verbi users who encountered this crash.

### 1/5 — Crashi

*2014-10-10, version 4.1.27*

Refundi?

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2014-09-05*

This has the potential to be a good app, but it is way too buggy and slow. Extremely frustrating since this app costs $3!

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2013-02-26*

Just bought this app and it looks rubbish. Nothing to tell you what it do, no set list of verbs, looks like you have to set up yourself all the verbs you want to use, no sign of any help. Don't waste your money.
App creator, not even an opening page with index?

### 1/5 — no imagination - no graphics

*2009-12-28*

You get locked on a quiz screen that is randomly hyper linked to other words.
If you want to get out of quiz mode then you have to find your way to setting and there you list out of list and out of lists

It is simply stupid, stressful and CRAP

### 2/5 — Needs more Italian verbs

*2014-11-20, version 4.1.30*

I bought this app so that I could practice verbs that I need to know for my tests at school but it really lacks in the selection of verbs. Add more verbs!!! Also, there is a glitch that does not allow you to save your verb lists. This app has the potential to be great but right now its useless to me. I will reassess if they update it.

### 2/5 — Crashy!

*2010-08-13*

Ugh. Twice I've created a subset of verbs to practice, and twice the application would crash so hard that I had to uninstall the freaking thing to get it to run more than 3 seconds. I also get random crashes when not using subsets.

### 3/5 — It's ok but

*2022-03-15*

Disappointing that the Gerundio isn't in the list or the drills, so kind of incomplete.

### 3/5 — Okay app

*2017-04-21*

The idea behind the app is great. However, currently the irregular conjugation selection is not working.
When you select "irregular" then select "drill" it gives an error message that there are no verbs that match my selection. I tried selection only "present" and "irregular" as well as "all tenses" and "irregular" same message both times.

Also would be a better app if it gave the option for you to type the answer and check it.
This would aid a lot in learning.

Would also be nice if it pronounced the word/conjugation

If they fixed these things it would be an awesome app and 5 Stars

**Developer response:** This problem has been corrected. Irregular verbs work as they should.

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2019-08-29*

I just recently got Verbi to help in learning Italian. I already think is terrific. It was easy to set up a list of verbs for conjugation drills.

I tried to add one verb I had learned and it wasn’t available, so I wrote an email through the Help section of settings and explained the issue. Within a couple of hours I received a response explaining it was inadvertently left out and would be added to the app in an update in a few days.

They are very serious about supporting their users. What a great concept!!!

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2015-08-05*

I've been looking for, and trying out, apps to improve my understanding of conjugations for ages. Finally I came across this one. It's excellent and well worth the small cost. Fully customisable, accurate. It has drills and tests. Perfect!

### 5/5 — Eccellente!

*2015-08-04*

Useful and easy to use app for Italian verb conjugation study. Very helpful options to check full Italian verb conjugation or just the tense being studied. Lovely design and intuitive. Excellent and responsive developer support.

### 5/5 — Credit where due

*2012-08-18*

There are quite a few learn Italian apps on the store - I've tried a few and this one hits a good niche, learning verbs! Many teach phrases (which is good) but you hit a point where you need to practice verbs and do little quizzes and test yourself. This app does this, and let's you customise verb lists and what tenses you want to learn. It has drills and tests, and keeps some basic scores for you. It's not perfect and to be honest i'd give it 4.5 but the author is responsive and so it's worth a 5 for actually building something with some legs. Definitely worth the price, particularly as he seems to have addressed many of the comments from previous reviewers.

### 5/5 — Great simple app

*2011-09-04*

Does what it says on the box, allows you to drill yourself on a wide selection of Italian verbs in all tenses, has a great feature that allows you to narrow down what specifically you want to test yourself on; verb endings, plurals, tenses etc. Only added feature I would like to see is the ability to record whether you have successfully recited the answer or not in order to identify weak areas.

### 5/5 — Perfect verb trainer

*2011-04-08, version 2.2.1*

Awesome tool for memorizing verbs. Interface is slick and easy to use. This combined with a flash card app makes a perfect toolkit for learning Italian.

### 5/5 — iVerbos Italian Verbs 2.2.0

*2011-02-26*

Version 2.2.1 works great. I'm glad to have access to this app again. It's really indispensable. If you're a language student, this app is well worth the money.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2009-11-27*

Thanks for the last update. It makes the application much better than before + the flag was already replaced. Just one thing, the app shouldn't be called "iverbi"? Anyway great app 

### 5/5 — Excellent app to practice Italian Verbs

*2009-07-21*

Simple user interface which allows you to rapidly test yourself and review Italian Verbs. Totally worth it, makes me want to practice (and learn) more!!! Indispensable for anyone trying to practice their knowledge of Italian Verbs.

### 5/5 — A good app which concentrates on a tricky area of language learning

*2009-07-11*

I've had this app for a while and I'm finding it really useful. I would go so far as to say that my conversational italian has improved as a result of this app enabling me to bring correct grammar into conversation with speed and accuracy. If I were to recommend an improvement it would be to give an example of the verb within context BOTH in English and Italian. Its all very well calling a tense the "conditional perfect" but if you dont what that means in the first place then it slows your learning down quite a bit. This is a small problem though, very good app
