## What is VerdantCue?

VerdantCue helps everyday plant owners identify flowers and foliage, organize a personal garden, and turn each result into practical care steps.

Take a photo, choose one from Photos, or record a silent 3–5 second multi-angle scan. VerdantCue prepares the imagery on your iPhone, adds on-device Apple Vision labels as supporting context, and sends compressed images to its production HTTPS service for visual AI analysis.

Review the likely plant name, confidence, alternative candidates, care guidance, and clickable reference titles before saving a result. Reference links are selected by the service to define appropriate evidence scopes; they do not prove that a particular photo is a specific species.

Build a care routine:

• Save plants with their environment and light conditions.
• Put important care tasks first and record completed care.
• Review identification and plant-problem history.
• Ask follow-up questions through a streaming AI care assistant.
• Find a plant suited to your space, light, and priorities.
• Describe your real environment to create a tailored care plan, then find or delete the saved plan later.

For visible plant stress, add symptoms and a photo to receive cautious possible causes and low-risk care steps. VerdantCue can also generate a clearly labeled AI simulation of a possible healthier appearance for before/after comparison. The generated image is illustrative and is not a promise of recovery.

VerdantCue supports English and Simplified Chinese. Entry uses an automatically created guest account, so no personal email or password is required. You can delete the guest account and associated VerdantCue cloud records from the app.
