## What is Verdict?

You are the Warden of Haven — the last settlement under a permanently grey sky.

Every card is a person with a dilemma. Swipe left or right: feed the town or arm the wall, trust the stranger or shut the gate, obey the voice below or seal the door. Keep Energy, Provisions, Security and Trust in balance — starve OR drown in excess, and your watch ends.

But in Haven, death is not the end. Another Warden wakes, years later, to a town shaped by your choices. And slowly — run after run, grave after grave — you begin to remember what you are.

A MYSTERY TOLD ACROSS LIFETIMES
• 240+ unique cards across five eras of a changing settlement
• Nine interlocking story arcs that persist across your deaths
• Four endings — four verdicts. The question is always the same. The answer is yours.
• A codex of recovered memories that assembles the truth piece by piece

SIMPLE TO PLAY, IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT DOWN
• One thumb, three minutes a run — depth without menus
• Every choice shows what it touches, never how much
• 20 recurring characters who age, die, scheme and remember you
• New Cycle mode: earn one verdict, then pursue the others

FAIR BY DESIGN
• The full story is free — progress is never for sale
• Optional ads only ever appear between runs; one purchase removes them forever
• Fully playable offline, no account, no tracking of our own

The sky has been grey for four hundred years. The vault under Haven knows why.
Come and answer — or don't. Both are answers.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-20

Small mendings for the Returning Warden:
• The archive and the Chronicle now agree on their counts
• Settings: write to us directly, read the privacy policy, and see your last backup’s date
• Restoring from iCloud asks only when there is something to restore
• A handful of French lines now read the way Haven would say them

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-18

THE RETURNING WARDEN

• For those who begin again: Haven half-remembers. Nine cards that never say so.
• For those who have answered everything: the archive keeps one more page.
• Dawn cards — once a real day, the day’s first watch opens on morning in Haven.
• Color-blind gauges (Settings): pattern-coded, no hue required.
• A single splash on launch, and the guard chip sits straight.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-11

Haven now speaks French — the entire game. Switch languages in Settings.

• MEMORIES: new entries are tagged and the archive opens on the first
• The three longest watches are now carved in the Chronicle, with their causes
• Deep Stores: a clearer counter — the offer above, what it costs below
• Sturdier purchases: a delivery that fails to confirm completes at the next launch
• Updates now repair old saves instead of resetting them

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-11

THE SEASON BETWEEN — a new story strand. Haven has always known what to do when a Warden dies. Nobody has ever asked how. Start asking.

- 51 new cards across every era of Haven
- Purchases now available: Remove Ads and the Provision Crate
- iCloud save backup: automatic after each run, manual in Settings
- More reliable ads and revive offers
- The Deep Stores, redesigned
- Many small fixes a certain Warden kept finding

### 1.0 — 2026-07-27
