## What is Verify Care ID?

Use this secure app to upload the documents required to complete your Care ID application.

Your Care ID will allow you to access:
NHS national systems
clinical data
patient information

This app will take a photograph of your documents and face.

If you chose to opt out of verifying your address with TransUnion, you may need 2 current photo IDs from the following:
passport
driving licence
UK Biometric residence permit card
HM armed forces identity card

And you may also need 1 proof of address from the following:
Bank or credit card statement from the last 6 months
Mortgage statement from the last 12 months
Utility bill, including gas, electric, water or landline telephone from the last 6 months
Council tax statement from the last 12 months
UK driving licence (this cannot be used as both photo ID and proof of address)

I down loaded the NHS on last Saturday and have I have created an account successfully. The same day I got a message from NHS informatics / IT suggesting my account didn’t belong to me having shared all my personal information. I have deleted and redownloaded loaded the account but am getting no joy here
. What could possibly gone and there isn’t a phone , some people be excluded from this because of the NHS’s inability to use the system themselves. This same for the EPic app systems. Why yer yo roll out these innovations but you have the money and no IT specialists and IT professionals who can effectively not only help patients with any difficulties in case of emergency for patients who can’t speak. I thought it was a good way to take to the next quality improvements strategy.?

I tried to set this up but first screen said click on link in their message. I hadn’t given any details and app won’t do anything. There is a red X at the top but it doesn’t do anything
