About

Is this the right medicine? Verify it in seconds. Search or scan a prescription or over-the-counter medicine and verify its name, strength, dosage form, and manufacturer against the official U.S. FDA National Drug Code (NDC) Directory — not an AI guess. Then save it. VerifyDrugLabel monitors FDA recall information for the medicines you've saved, helping you know when one has been recalled. BUILT FOR REAL PEOPLE Medication information shouldn't be difficult to read or hear. VerifyDrugLabel is designed with accessibility at the center, including large, resizable text, high-contrast mode, and full label read-aloud for older adults, low-vision users, and the people who care for them. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Verify a medicine by name, ingredient, NDC, or barcode — including the new square 2D codes found on some prescription packages. • Verify before you take it. Confirm the medication's name, strength, form, and manufacturer using FDA-sourced drug information. • Hear the FDA label read aloud with the voice and reading speed you choose. • Make medication information easier to see with resizable large type and high-contrast Elder mode. • Watch for recalls. Save your medicines and receive alerts when FDA recall information matches one of them — down to your lot number, when the recall names one. • Check drug interactions across your saved medications and flag your allergies. • Share with a caregiver. Create a private, read-only link to a loved one's medication list — no account required for the person viewing it. • Import from your pharmacy. Bring in the prescription export your pharmacy gives you and review every row before anything is saved. • Set medication reminders for medicines you've already verified, helping ensure the reminder is associated with the correct medication. • Create a medication wallet card or fridge sheet to keep an up-to-date list available for an emergency room visit, doctor's appointment, or pharmacy visit. WHY VERIFYDRUGLABEL IS DIFFERENT FDA-sourced, not AI-guessed. Drug information comes from the FDA's openFDA database and is shown as written, with the date it was retrieved. Accessibility-first. Large type, high contrast, and read-aloud are core features — not afterthoughts. Recall monitoring. Save the medications that matter to you and monitor for relevant FDA recall information. Privacy-focused. No ads. We don't sell your data. Scanned images are never stored — our privacy policy explains exactly how a scan is processed. VerifyDrugLabel is an informational accessibility tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for your pharmacist or doctor. VerifyDrugLabel does not identify loose pills by their imprint. Start with a 7-day free trial. No card is collected to start. Made by Duskfield Studios. VerifyDrugLabel Premium is an auto-renewable subscription available weekly, monthly, or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. What's New in VerifyDrugLabel

1.0.3

August 29, 2026

Your medicines, grouped by person The medication timeline now groups by who each medicine is for, with a colour for each person, so a household can tell at a glance whose medicine is whose. A gentler start First-time setup now walks you through what the app does, and asks clearly before anything involving your health information is turned on. Typing an NDC just works Enter the number the way it's printed on the bottle — with dashes or without — and we'll find it instead of telling you it's invalid. Import from a photo Bring in a prescription from a photo of the label, not only a spreadsheet. Clearer FDA labels Label sections now carry the FDA's own headings, so sections about pregnancy, nursing, children and older adults are named rather than left to guesswork. Easier to read Long medicine names no longer break apart mid-word, and turning the text size up no longer clips the top of a line. Plus sign-in and email verification reliability fixes.
