Theres no warning from VS unless you zoom into the image. It’s not listed next to the grade or slab number Veriswap need to update their grade choices for vintage. I didn’t know and took the hit on two montana RC with (OC) grades. I was lured in with interest and without opening the image and zooming in I thought it was a fair deal and understood giving 400 in value over comps bc of the trade up. After zooming in on the card a few hours later I noticed the OC mark and looked up comps. Turns out it’s only a $200 card not $1500, I requested an immediate cancellation and VS took 2 days to reply they don’t reimburse fees???? That’s handicap level comment and illegal. You can cancel any purchase in any state without penalty. I am extremely annoyed at the fact this is the 3rd time I had my gaurd down and losing money for absolutely NO reason ### 3/5 — Great app. Ok/Bad priced fees and long turnaround times. *2026-06-08* The app overall is amazing. Couldn’t ask for anything more. However… the fees get a little pricey so unless you’re doing a trade worth 100$+ in total combined value it’s not really worth it. Tried trading 10$ in cards and it wanted to charge me 8$ + a 5$ shipping label. Plus the turnaround time takes around 2 weeks. If one of the two issues were fixed the other wouldn’t matter much but your paying 15$+ to have to wait 2-3 weeks to get your trade. If you find the right people to trade with the downside is that the people on this app? just want double a triple the value of what the cards actually worth and you’re sitting there trying to get a guild done for hours when in the end point they just say they’ll pass and you feel like your time is straight wasted I’ve done a few trades on Veriswap. and the turnaround time is a long time if you do a trade on this app, don’t expect to get your cards for at least a month. It’s a great concept, but this will die out fast if they keep the fees this high and shipping takes so long because of this point I’d rather go trade with real people at card shops and card shows that won’t sit there and waste my time be very careful in trading this app because unless you’re trading cards over $500 the fees and shipping doesn’t really seem worth it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Total scam! High fees! Zero customer support! *2026-08-21* I really hesitated on writing this as I love the concept but cannot stand by such poor service and robbery! I’ve made over ten trades paid over $200 in fees for a horrible turnaround time, no customer support regarding account, ongoing app glitches. I paid $30 in a trade only to have the other party canceled after I shipped my cards, I was emailed that a refund would be provided, never got it. My cards where never returned! They sat at the veriswap location for over two weeks!! I still have not heard back from any of my emails sent requesting my refund and cards back! This is what lead me to warn everyone. This app was such a huge let down and would not recommend. Don’t recommend this app if you don’t wanna get stolen from ### 1/5 — Truly disappointed in Geoff Wilson *2026-07-17, version 2.1.16* I was genuinely excited to try this app because I respect Geoff Wilson and what he’s done for the hobby. Unfortunately, the experience has been incredibly disappointing. Instead of finding a welcoming community, I dealt with overpriced vendors and collectors and was insulted multiple times simply for trying to negotiate. The marketplace feels more focused on squeezing every dollar out of buyers than creating a positive experience for collectors. The fees are excessive, shipping charges are confusing and appear to be double charged in some cases, and customer service has been unprofessional and unhelpful when issues arise. For an app backed by someone who has such a strong voice in the hobby, this is a major letdown. Geoff Wilson should be embarrassed by the current state of the platform. I cannot recommend this app to other collectors until significant improvements are made to the marketplace, fee structure, and customer support. A real fan of your store and content let down! Will unsubscribe moving forward. ### 1/5 — Scammers galore *2026-07-17, version 2.1.16* Some great people on this app but there are some who pass jumbo downtowns and stained glasses off as downtowns and bury it in the additional details vs actual title. My son made a bad trade and got completely scammed thinking he was getting a downtown. Live and learn. Veriswap did nothing. Building the experience around anonymity instead of relationships feels like the wrong bet. The fees are hard to justify for what’s essentially a service exchange, and the clearing-house process, especially for raw cards, is practically nonexistent. For a platform centered on high-value transactions, that’s a major miss. The idea was great. This app is confusing and getting a deal done on the app is near impossible with inconsistent prices and low response rate from other users. The fees are a little high and add up quickly. I believe they’re going up more than they started at. I traded $1000 in cards and it was over $70 in fees so I think that’s a little ridiculous. However, I do love this app and I’ve done a lot of trading. The search function is very difficult. It would be nice if you could match your interest & someone else together. As an example if I’m looking for a one piece card, but I only have Baseball Cards to trade. It would be nice to know who has a one piece card and is willing to take Baseball through the search, criteria’s not having to look at every single card to see what preferences people have.
