Chapter 4 the artefact should be in the blue doorway but it’s not. All the walkthroughs are the same. Appears in all of the video walkthroughs I’ve looked at, but not there for me. What am I doing wrong??? ### 3/5 — Simulation or… *2024-11-21, version 1.2.7* I enjoy Glitch games, by and large. But there’s an unfortunate tendency of being placed in an uncomfortable situation and the designers trying to heighten the immersion by including noises and effects that make the experience of playing the game itself annoying. And there’s really no difference between cruelly subjected a prisoner to sonic torture and simulating sonic torture. The simulation is just as maddening. ### 4/5 — Love these games *2024-10-28, version 1.2.7* I absolutely love these Glitch games. I enjoyed this one a lot though by the 8th and 9th chapters I really needed the online game guide or I wouldn’t have made it through. More solutions in the hints would be helpful but otherwise another fantastic game. ### 4/5 — Very fun, but the noise was awful *2024-10-27* Overall, I enjoyed this game. Most of the steps in solving each puzzle made sense. A few seemed totally random, but it was better than many other games in the genre. My biggest gripe was the background noise. There was the constant sound of fans whirring, tv static, alarms blaring, etc. I understand having some noise for ambiance, but it seems like the developers picked the most grating and annoying sounds possible and left them on constantly. While I could adjust the settings to turn the sound off/down, that meant also getting rid of all the other non-ambient sounds as well. It really soured what was otherwise a fun game. ### 3/5 — Great Game, But…… *2024-05-02, version 1.2.3* Loved the game, like all Glitch Games we’ve played. However, getting to the Radar Puzzle near the end of the game, it’s not possible to solve it because the Photo Album icon is over the top of one of the buttons you need to press. Impossible to finish ☹️ ### 3/5 — Tedious *2023-02-04, version 1.2.1* Sorry - just my opinion, it’s a clever enough game, it got tedious and I deleted it. Things like the piano - hitting the right key wasn’t enough, you have to hold it down. Finally got tire of trying to figure out what to do with the bedroom access card and punched out. ### 5/5 — Really challenging! *2022-12-12* Mostly I only play puzzle games and this is one of the most difficult I have ever done! Having said that, it is very clever, quite lengthy and if you stick with it you will get most of the puzzles sorted. The camera facility is excellent, as is the Help facility which is vital unless you are a rocket scientist! Even with the solution, there were a couple of puzzles where I just couldn’t work out what the heck it was all about. A lot of effort has gone into this game and it is well worth a shot, as is most of their material. ### 3/5 — lag! *2022-12-03, version 1.2.1* I really like Glitch games in general, but this one was hard to get through. The lag is horrible (I’m on the latest version as of Dec 2022) and it turned my iPad into a heater. I was seriously starting to wonder if it was finally time to replace the iPad until I saw that lots of other people were having the same problem. The atmosphere was mostly effective (though I could do without grating, repetitive sounds you can’t turn off, such as busted electronics crackling) and the puzzles were good, but I’d advise steering clear of this and trying a different Glitch game. ### 5/5 — Frustrating as hell! *2022-10-12, version 1.2* Some of the puzzles are straightforward, a lot will have you wanting to throw your iPad across the room when you have to resort to a hint! Love love love your work Glitch folk ### 2/5 — Leider auf IPad Pro nicht Spielbälle *2022-08-09* Gutes Spiel, mit teilweise komplizierten Rätseln, die man so nicht in anderen Spielen findet. Leider hat mich das Spiel beim Starten zweimal mit einem „Black Screen“ begrüßt, der sich nur durch eine Neuinstallation beheben ließ. beim dritten Mal wollte ich das Spiel nicht noch einmal von vorne spielen. Insoweit weiß ich leider nicht, wie es ausgeht. Schade bei dem ambitionierten Preis…. ### 4/5 — I’m conflicted. It’s amazing and yet tedious *2022-07-25* I love escape games. Have been playing them for decades. This is the first I’ve played from this developer. For the most part I enjoyed the experience but there was a couple things that make me hesitate trying another. What I love: -Having a storyline that is pretty easy to follow. -The puzzles were mostly logical and medium difficulty. -the hint function was helpful from time to time. -the camera to take screenshots of things you want to remember -the ability to write on the photos you take What was not enjoyable: -the edit function on the photos was buggy on my iPhone. It would often close the photo you were writing on. I eventually just used the screenshot function of my phone. -it was tedious to get around the large world. I spent a good chunk of my time wandering aimlessly around trying to find a certain clue or object that was many rooms in the past. Then getting back to where you needed to go. Was just so tedious. I found I greatly prefer games that keep you confined to 1-2 rooms only for ease of accessibility. Sure it was a little more realistic, but it got old, fast. Overall a good quality game. Not sure if I’ll try another though just due to the tediousness of it. ### 5/5 — One of the Best of the Genre *2022-07-20, version 1.2* Eerie without being over the top. Challenging puzzles and a good hint system. A story that kept me engaged at every step. The graphics and sound design were excellent. I cannot wait to see what Glitch Games does next. ### 4/5 — Buyer beware!! *2022-07-01* Updated July 2022: appreciate the response from the developers. I reported the issue on December 2021, and after some research found out that it had been reported by others. I received a response about a week ago. I enjoy the games, the lack of response when I encounter a problem not so much. Bought the game but now it won’t let me restore the purchase. Play once and then repay for the game? Seems like a scam. Contacted developer and never heard back. Apparently so have others. Love their games but I will not spend on any more until this is solved. **Developer response:** This has long been fixed and if you're sitll having issues please get in touch. ### 3/5 — Extremely Upset, Can No Longer Play *2022-06-09* I purchased the game as a preorder as I enjoyed other glitch games such as forever lost. Played it, loved it, forgot about it. I recently decided to replay the game as it had been long enough that I had forgotten most of the solutions, and I discover that the game has been lock with in app purchases. One of the reasons I liked glitch games was due to the lack of in app purchases, something I try to avoid. I’d rather pay upfront and not have to worry about being blocked from plying, as I did when I purchased this game. I am extremely upset that I can’t enjoy this masterpiece of a game due to a call made purely for increased profit. If you wanted more money, it would have been better to list the game at a higher price rather than irritate those who already owned this game. **Developer response:** The In app purhase has long since been removed and has gone back to a regular premium title. If the game is not working for you now please get in touch with us so we can sort it as we can't do it through reviews. Sadly, simply increasing the price of an app often won't guanratee more profits, generally all it does is reduce purchases. ### 3/5 — Not the best Glitch game *2022-06-05* If you’re new to Glitch games, I’d strongly recommend the Forever Lost series. Those are some of my favorite escape room games ever. I found this one to be more tedious and less accessible. For one thing, it’s a much bigger game world, which means lots of backtracking. Couple that with a time delay every time I load a new scene, and something as simple as movement becomes a chore. There are also some extra complicated and obtuse puzzles. Finally, the story didn’t really build up to anything, with an anticlimactic ending. Despite these flaws, it’s got the same just-one-more-puzzle addictiveness that the other Glitch games have, so I would recommend it to someone who has played the others and wants more. ### 5/5 — Perfection as usual *2022-06-05* Glitch are in my eyes quite literally the best games creators out there, they have a style unique to them, the camera idea alone is now copied in many other games but originally a glitch creation, the style is so exciting it’s like being in the best sweet shop not knowing what to look at first, all my Christmases come at once upon a new release and I’m never disappointed. This is yet another superb game the puzzles are brilliant some easy some tantalisingly difficult. The only con is that I never want it to end! ### 5/5 — Fabulous game *2022-05-16* This is really the best game I have played for a long time. Far more inventive that the previous games by these guys. I have to say that one needs to be a lateral thinker to play well, but for me, getting three or four correct without the walkthrough was still very satisfying. The end, leaving one rod to find was somewhat abrupt but nonetheless, this game is really good. Great graphics and kept my mind working. Well done guys. More please. Looking at many guides and videos, they all have full sized scraps while mine has not even 10% the size. So guess mine is unbeatable, so rating it 1 until fixed. ### 1/5 — Forced to buy full access via in-app purchase, then unable to share with family members *2021-12-29, version 1.1.3* I couldn’t find how to buy the app outright from the App Store, so was forced to get it free then buy using in-app purchase. My intention was to share app with family members, then discovered that in-app purchases are not shareable. This time I was having a lot of fun and got to Chapter 4 and all my progress disappeared again. Love the game but I’m not starting over again, The game is on an iPad. Hopefully you can fix so other people can enjoy. Never had this issue with any other Glick games. Deleted it and downloaded again and it was fine, until in chapter 3 I have the drum sticks and try to play the foot drum (2 pizzas ) and it won’t light up second light. Very annoying!!!!! How can you fix this? ### 1/5 — I paid $5 to play after chapter 1 and game crashed with no progress saved. *2021-04-22, version 1.1.2* I was halfway through chapter 2 when the game crashed and when I reopened the game it played the prologue and had no progress saved. I was not disappointed! Such a great setup and storyline. I especially love how you can tweak the difficulty and use the hints if you run out of ideas. Will definitely be purchasing more games by these guys 🙏🏼 ### 5/5 — Help I’m addicted! *2024-06-17* First of all, hats off to the devs for the clever reference to Holly v Q in that ep of red dwarf. No one ever gets my references to that show; I laughed so hard when I saw that. Likewise with all the quotes and references to 80s/90s movies and the great sci-fi writers. Your games have fantastic storytelling, never boring and they always keep me immersed. I ADORE all the cheeky notes and self-aware comments, and the puzzles are extremely satisfying and hard enough to always stay interesting. I still owe you rave reviews on Cabin Escape, Forever lost 1-2-3, and the Forgotten Room as well. Like many others I came here after playing The Room series and then House of Da Vinci. I’m so happy I gave Glitch games a chance, I’m afraid I am about to binge-play them all and then wonder what to do with the rest of my life. ### 5/5 — Mind-bendingly brilliant! *2023-11-15* These guys are the absolute best! Out of spite I looked for it on a different platform, found it, finished it there and now I want to see if I can do it again and piece things together better and actually know the story if that makes sense? Put together who is who and who we are. A gore warning would be nice before you turn the lights on in the labs exam room though because that was a little off settling and I had to step away for a moment.
