It opens and shows a balance. Then to view the actual account details you have to do the same thing all over again. I do not have any other apps that take this long to get anywhere. Do better. ### 3/5 — VZN Rewards Gone *2026-05-10, version 3.5.0* The latest app update removed the apps ability show your current Verizon dollar balance when logging in. Now it forces you to go to a separate app to view the balance and clicking on the rewards tab results in an error message. Don’t ask me to email you, just restore the link between that shows my rewards instead of me logging into my Verizon. ### 1/5 — App Unusable *2026-04-29, version 3.5.0* The Verizon Visa Card app is essentially unusable. The app repeatedly fails to retrieve account information at login, making it impossible to access my account. What’s even more frustrating is that support is no help. Customer service cannot explain the issue or provide a solution, leaving users stuck without access to their own financial information. Based on other user reports, this doesn’t seem like an isolated problem—people have experienced login failures, dashboards not loading, and being kicked back without being able to sign in. For a financial app, basic functionality like logging in should be reliable. Right now, it’s not. Until this is fixed, the app is not dependable.. ### 3/5 — Bare bones features *2026-03-10, version 3.5.0* The timeout period is annoyingly short, forcing many logins to accomplish one task. The amount due is only available from the pay card screen. The payment method of a previously scheduled, but still pending payment is unavailable. There is no contact info for support. Verizon Visa card is a joke and not recommended unless you want less features then most credit card apps. App doesn’t function right, only lets you log in 20% of the time. The rewards are hilarious, and how long it takes this company to update your funds in mediocre service at best. 5 days, money taken out of my bank 3 days ago and still , can’t even buy some food or get gas. One of the worst credit cards out there. The rewards and cash back for this card is terrible. It used to be good. But they ruined it and changed everything that was good. Ruined percentages and rewards. Plus they took away gift cards. The card is out to get you. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Promo vs main balance option *2026-08-09, version 3.5.0* If you have a promotional no interest financing balance, they don’t let you choose where you payment goes toward. Mine went all toward the promotional balance, instead of focusing on the non-promotional balance. And even though I paid more than the new balance and the monthly required for the promotional combined, I started getting charged interest on an “unpaid balance” because my money was only going towards the no interest financing promo balance. They need to make an option that allows you to choose in the app. Until then, you have to call the customer service number to have them focus payments specifically toward your non-promotional balance. ### 1/5 — Not worth the pain *2026-08-01, version 3.5.0* The app doesn’t disclose much information to you and doesn’t let you create the account immediately to the point that gives the bank reason to penalize you for missing a deadline. Let me tell you. Verizon cares so much that if you want the Auto Pay discount, they push you to get a Verizon Visa card issued by Synchrony Bank, a bank that’s often criticized by customers for unexpected fees, billing issues, and poor customer service. So, if you want the discount, you’re essentially encouraged to use a Verizon Visa card and deal with Synchrony Bank. Customer choice shouldn’t come with conditions. ### 1/5 — Visa card *2026-07-29, version 3.5.0* The app sucks , In order to add it on the Apple wallet you need to do verification and after you do the verification they send you a code and the code don’t even work half of the time so they locked the card and you have to wait letter on the mail with a new code. Also the “verification” is 1. Send a video of yourself 2. Send photo of your ID front and back. Keep in mind if there’s a tiny bit of light reflection they don’t accept it so they locked that card because that code won’t work. UNLESS YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT REWARDS ### 1/5 — Verizon doesn’t care *2026-05-24, version 3.5.0* I’ve had Verizon since I was a teenager. They convinced me to switched from personal to business and Verizon kept my $500 rewards. Stating they can’t do anything. Now they lowered my Credict twice and had made me once over limit and the second time about 99% usage. Now this has hurt my Credict score. All the people over the phone do is read scripts but are not helpful at all. ### 1/5 — A completely worthless card *2026-05-15, version 3.5.0* They will take your money and completely go into hiding. I send them a payment, it takes 4 business days for them to process but you still don’t have access to the money for another week. All in all you don’t have access to the amount you paid for two weeks. What’s the reason for the card if for half the billing cycle you can’t access the money you already paid them. It has happened twice with no valid excuse despite the last time they promised me it will not happen again ### 1/5 — Downgraded *2026-05-11, version 3.5.0* Can no longer see my Verizon dollars in the app. Have to open the my Verizon app now. Absolute trash corporate bull. Force me to use two apps when one is done. Your data thirsty cash grab is. Of appreciated. It requires a certain level of the iOS, and that may be inconveniently prohibitive for some. I unequivocally disagree with the one star reviews that don’t do any justice to the card and the app. The card may not have the “hottest” perks, and welcome bonuses, but it comes with one feature which is utterly undisputed: THE PHENOMENAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM! I take my invisible hat off to Angie and Stefan for consistently exemplary service, outstanding professionalism, and incredible attitude! Just a phone call away, they will clarify, educate , and comfort you !
