Keeping track of watering, rainfall, fertilizer types, and when I last applied them is a real task, and it only gets harder once you're juggling companion planting and what to grow after last season's crop. I wanted a little backup: a way to see at a glance that I already fertilized these tomatoes, or that this plant's growth stage means it needs less water this week, not more. Life is busy, and it's frustrating when a plant underproduces, withers, or gets covered in aphids or cabbage moths. Vernalo shows me the companion plants that will help my existing garden before I plant them, warns me when I'm about to plant something that will hinder what's already growing, and helps me learn to read each plant's growth stages instead of guessing.
