### 1/5 — App constantly crashes and is buggy. Irremovable watermark on videos.

This app whilst looks useful, is extremely buggy and crashes everytime I try and open an “experiment” longer than a couple minutes. Like the flir app, they put a watermark on every video output (but their logo instead of flir). This is ridiculous and makes this useless for a lot of purposes.

Update: after managing to finally export a video (after spending hours!! trying different things to make the app stop crashing) the maximum temperature bounding box that’s rendered onto the video is not accurate. It does not match up with the recorded temperature or the graph that is included in the video. These developers should be ashamed.

Update 2: literally any recording that’s longer than like 2-3 minutes crashes the app when you try to open it. This app is completely useless.

Plusieurs mois après la mise à jour , toujours impossible de se servir de ce soft.
Très supérieur à la boîte à outils de Flir, mais ne fonctionne plus en pratique. Donc inutile.

This app worked well before I updated to iOS 11.2.1. It was a very useful app when it worked. Please update.

**Developer response:** There was an issue with versions of iOS between 11.2 and 11.2.5. Please update to the current iOS release and all will be well. Thanks for your interest in the app.

Vernier AND FLIR should be embarrassed with how poorly this app works. The features (particularly data logging) are awesome, but the app simply fails to run stable. If it doesn’t crash when you’re recording data, it surely will when you go back to replay it... if you can get your experiments to load at all without crashing. I thought I could use this in a professional product development setting, but besides being a showcase for what COULD be, this app is functionally useless.

Crashes constantly, especially on iPad.  On my iPhone I can sometimes get a useful experiment, but crashes consistently on iPad.  Graphs on video export don’t match data.

Please, pretty please, Developers, please fix this app.  It is hands down the best - if it didn’t crash.  I will buy you a beer if you fix this.  Two!  Don’t have come this far only not to finish!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your interest and comments. Please update to version 2.0.  The graph temperature issue in stored videos has been resolved.

Ich war erst skeptisch! Habe mich dann doch entschlossen die App zu kaufen und war total überrascht über die integrierten Funktionen. Bedeutend bessere Analyse -Möglichkeiten! Total überrascht war ich von der Bildauflösung! 👍 
Die Ernüchterung kam dann aber nach der Speicherung der Bilder und Videos! Absolut kein Vergleich mehr zum Live Bild!
Sehr, sehr schlechte Qualität! Damit nicht zu gebrauchen.
Absolut schade! Denn diese App hätte das Potential als Analyse Werkzeug für die FLIR One Pro 3

It’s works good and measures as expected. 
 Major drawbacks though:

DOES NOT support orientation. Cannot be used with screen tilted to 90deg or even flipped to 180deg. Makes it very awkward to work with on an iPhone and the lack of rotation support makes it limited from that aspect.

Snapshots (pictures) are exported without temperature information.

Crashes (a LOT), buggy export of data and video, no emissivity or gain setting. Very powerful, but ultimately not quite reliable enough to be useful.
