## What is VerseFirst?

VerseFirst puts the Bible before everything else on your phone.

You see one verse per screen and swipe up for the next. Inside the app there are no ads and nothing around the text.

READ EVERY DAY
- Choose your daily reading: 3, 5 or 8 verses to start. Read the most you can on three days and you can go higher, step by step, up to 40.
- A verse counts when you stop to read it, not when you swipe past it.
- Your streak continues every day you complete your reading.
- One reminder a day, at the time you choose. If you have already read, it does not arrive that day.

A PATH OF THEMES
- 336 verses in 14 themes: the Word, who Jesus is, salvation, prayer, words of Jesus, faith, forgiveness, God's promises, peace, love, wisdom, strength, gratitude and hope.
- You do not pick themes: they open. You start with the Word.
- When you read half of a theme and memorize one of its verses, new themes open.
- The feed mixes the themes you have opened. The Themes tab shows the whole path.

MEMORIZE
Swipe a verse to the left, or tap Memorize, and do four exercises, from easy to hard:
1. Fill in the blanks, choosing among 3 options.
2. More blanks, with 4 options.
3. Put the pieces of the verse in order.
4. Type the first letter of every word, with nothing on screen.
You can leave and continue another day. The Memorize tab lists the verses in progress and the memorized ones, to continue or review.

YOUR APPS, AFTER YOU READ (OPTIONAL)
- If you turn it on, VerseFirst locks your apps with Screen Time every day from the time you choose (5:00 unless you change it) until you complete your reading.
- You decide which apps never lock. Calls and emergencies always work.
- You can turn it off at any time in Settings.
- VerseFirst cannot see which apps you have or how much you use them.

ALSO
- Save verses and share them.
- Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen: the verse of the day and today's reading.
- No account and no sign-up. What you read, save and memorize stays on your iPhone and in your private iCloud.
- In English and Spanish. iPhone only.

THE BIBLE TEXT
In English, the World English Bible. In Spanish, the Reina-Valera 1909, with updated accentuation. Both are in the public domain.

SUBSCRIPTION
VerseFirst requires a subscription, monthly or yearly. There is a single plan that includes everything, and it starts with a free trial. If notifications are allowed, VerseFirst reminds you 2 days before the trial ends so you can cancel in time.

Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage and cancel it in iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
