I've tried the rest at the time of this review but this is the only one that has a word search and landscape mode. The "Bible Douay-Rheims (Catholic)" for $2.99 is also very good. It lacks the word search, but it is well organized and has a nice look. I am enormously happy with this application and recommend it to everyone searching for a Catholic Bible. I no longer need to carry my heavy bible everywhere I go, I have it in the palm of my hand. As an added benefit, VerseWise gives great customer support. Prior to purchase, I contacted VerseWise and they were extremely helpful in answering my questions. I like how the Bible in one year reading plan gives you a little of the Old Testament and New Testament in parallel tracks everyday. Makes it very enjoyable. And it never loses where I left off. App runs smoothly. I have an old 32-bit iPhone, but the app is fast and responsive. The ease of tapping verses to share to my apps, like notes or messengers, is very convenient. ### 5/5 — FANTASTIC APP! *2020-05-30* If you haven’t experienced this version of the Bible yet, you must do so! I am able to choose a black background with white font which is easier on my eyes, different font sizes, highlighting and/ or bookmarking passages (in addition to viewing them in one list), emailing passages, and most importantly, excellent footnotes that enable me to understand the word of God! I am now able to read the bible regularly and remain interested. It has got some very good features like the possibility to bookmark certain areas. This way I can refer to my favourite parts of the bible just by visiting my bookmarks! The quick access to the footnotes is also very useful and easy to work with.
