Knowing The Word is so important so I was considering paying for another memorization app until I found this one. So far it does everything the other one does and some more. I like the ability to request feed back that way users can felt heard and the app can actually improve in a meaningful way if the good suggestions are actually worked on. I also like the analytics provided. I can see them being fun to look at when I’m further along in my memorization journey. The only things I would have liked more could be a bit more details in the statistics but that is just me. I like looking at numbers. And the other thing is maybe have a bit more Bibles to draw verses from even though there are already quite a few provided and they are the general main ones. Overall so far in my experience this app is amazing and (so far as I know) completely free! ### 5/5 — Great and fun way to learn the Bible *2026-07-19, version 5.2.0* It is a great app that helps you to learn the Bible in a fun way. You can keep track of your scriptures and add more. There are several different ways to test and difficulty levels and they seem to add to new content like different translations and different ways to test and keep track of your score. Would be cool to add your friends see your score versus your friends score for a little healthy competition. ### 4/5 — Arguably the Best App for Bible Verse Memorization. *2026-07-18, version 5.2.0* Versify is a great tool that has helped me in manage the memorization of several Bible verses. It relies on activities including reading, typing (first letter typing and full word and punctuation typing), and fill in the blank activities. More recently it added speaking and listening activities. It has a scoring and each activity increases your score until you unlock a final test. It can track your day-streaks, and can notify you when to review the verses. It supports translations such as ESV and KJV, among others. However to my surprise, they didn’t have NKJV. I don’t mind some of the other versions that are supported but I’ve been reading and memorizing verses from NKJV my whole life. I was surprised that other versions were in there but not this one. Jeremiah 15:19 it only had therefore thus says the Lord, but what the Lord actually says was not apart of the memorization. Defeats the purpose if we are not going to learn the entire verse. I give a three because the idea is great.
