It will allow you to add an appointment, but once your appointment is complete it never increments the # of donations you made. If you look in your donations history, it may or may not appear there. The list of donations in your history does NOT equal the number of donations they have tallied for you on the front page. Also, it does not allow you to add your Versiti ID to your wallet which would make for an easier QR scan in at your appointment. It does not allow you to log into the app with your face ID even though the app shows the feature is there. Lastly, there is NO way to contact anyone from within the app to resolve/report any of the glitches. It is a very Plain Jane app that has the potential for so much more, but barely works. ### 1/5 — Cannot connect to server *2024-07-02, version 2.1.2* App has been unable to connect for months. It says I have 0 donations when I have been donating on a regular basis in Wisconsin for over 13 years. It knows my Name & blood type, but nothing else. ### 2/5 — Glitchy App for an Important Service *2024-07-01, version 2.1.2* Login is an issue. User must select a region (state) at every login, even when you are an returning user. Once a region is selected, you must return to home screen to provide login credentials. Server connection (required for login) has been down on a couple occasions. One feature for consideration would be Face ID compatibility for those interested in a quicker login option. Once at the home screen, the selection options are fairly straightforward, but features associated with donating, like Versiti VeriPass (health screening questions form) are not included under the donation tab. A link can be found elsewhere but is not located in an intuitive place. While not an app issue, the code for the small incentives promotions must be entered into the notes section when registering for a donation time to receive it. Including promotion eligibility as the default seems simple enough based on the dates the promotion is available and time of donation. Some tweaking of the app and a more consistent server would make this a very useful tool for donors. Note, critiques are for the app only and not the great people working the phones or at donation centers! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-06-28, version 2.1.2* Server always down. When I try to log back in, it sits there staring at me without an error message or anything saying whats wrong. Very un-user friendly . On the days it works, it works great . The app and their website cannot accomplish that simple task. There is a ton of info about “diversity” and trans blood donations and photos of different skin colors though. We all have the same red blood. Ultimately their IT department does not deliver more blood to dying patients. If i call their 1-800 number i’m sure I’ll encounter similar hurdles. ### 2/5 — Incorrect information *2023-09-19, version 2.1.1* First of all, I have to scroll through all my saved passwords just to find “Versiti” this is annoying at times. Secondly, it shows iI have donated everything under “Donate Now” section. It is confusing. I guess it is showing when I am eligible to donate that type. I do like scheduling through the app, although I cannot get the promotional stuff like gift cards, drink cozy, etc. I do not need those things, but why offer if I cannot get them? ### 2/5 — App needs a lot of work *2023-07-16, version 2.1.1* I got logged in, but it had none of my history. I couldn’t edit my profile to add my donor ID. As it is today it’s completely useless. It has a lot of potential if they get it working as described. ### 2/5 — Cumbersome and tedious login *2023-07-15, version 2.1.1* Trying to log into this app is terrible. So many extra steps and it never saves or stores my password. I haven’t found an option for faceID either to try to make it easier. Frankly, just the frustration from the app alone is a strong motivating factor to destroy my will to donate my time and blood. I give my blood for free to Versiti… can I just have an easy to use app? ### 1/5 — Kicks you out each time you exit the app *2023-04-24, version 2.1.1* Created my account and had easy time navigating the app once I signed in. However any time you close the app or exit it, the app will log you out of your account and you have to sign back in each time you open it. Pretty inconvenient ### 1/5 — Ugh *2023-04-20, version 2.1.1* This app is horrible. I have to keep resetting my password. I reset it to make my appointment, then need to reset it to fill out the questionnaire on the day of the appointment. Now it won’t even let me in. It just grays out. I can’t find a way to fill out the questionnaire online either. I may just switch to the Red Cross or Life Source. I’ve been unable to use the app since I installed it. I’ve only been able to login once and I believe that was just by accident. I’ve had to constantly reset my password. And even after a reset it still says the login fails. Today, just by coincidence, I was contacted by a Versiti team member to donate blood. I told her I literally just got back from the RED CROSS today from a donation. I explained how I tried to login to Versiti last night and was unable to get my Versiti app to work. The team member said this is a common complaint with people, and she said she would elevate my concerns to the next level. She said they are working very hard to address these concerns. While I was on the phone with the team member, she tried to reset the password at her computer for me and it failed twice on her. ### 1/5 — I really wish it worked *2025-07-17, version 2.2.09* I have been donating blood for awhile now, they have given me my donor ID number at the blood drive so I can sign in easily. But that doesn’t work. I tried to look at my donation history, it says no donations on file. I try to request an appointment, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to sign in to fill out pre-donation forms, unable to do it. It seems like it could be a wonderful app, if it actually worked. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2025-05-12, version 2.2.09* Can’t login, says password is incorrect so I reset password. The email never sends. When I could login no user information was given so there was no point to the app. ### 1/5 — Used to be really good *2024-11-29, version 2.2.09* I used to love popping this open to scan my ID, check on my info, schedule and manage appointments, and complete my VersiPass. Its functionality has gotten worse and worse to the point that I can’t even get in it anymore. So much for saving time with VersiPass — and all the other functionality. But when I tried it again today everything had synced up and it seems to work perfectly. I won’t know if everything actually works perfectly until I can try it at the next blood drive, but so far all indications are good. So if you just installed this and are annoyed by its lack of responsiveness, just log out and try again tomorrow. ### 5/5 — Makes it Easy to Donate *2022-03-26, version 1.4* I don’t donate blood as often as I should but having the app makes it easier to find places to give and schedule appointments. The questionnaire now works perfectly on my iPhone and I like that I can see an actual donor card with a barcode for the staff to scan! ### 4/5 — Mostly good *2021-09-30, version 1.2.2* The app does make scheduling and answering the questions much easier. Other reviews mentioned the sizing of questions over the answer choices that need to be addressed. My biggest suggestion would be to auto fill certain fields in the health survey. Ive already signed into the app; it knows who I am and my birthday and my donor number. When I go to fill in the survey, I need to them return back to the donor screen to find my donor number so I can enter it again. ### 4/5 — Health app update *2021-02-06, version 1.2.2* Great app. Able to make appointments and view my health and history. It would be helpful to have a tab where those are listed, showing time, location, and type of donation planned. ### 3/5 — Where’s my Wellness? *2025-07-11, version 2.2.09* App allows you to schedule blood donations fairly easily but makes it as complicated as possible to get past donations and wellness info. I had to have customer support send a screenshot just to show where it was hidden. Back when it was Indiana Blood Center, before it got bought out and corporatized as Versiti, it had much better quality of donor wellness info and easier access. Wish the website or app would use API code or CSV downloads permitted so I can export my data and share it with my rheumatologist. ### 3/5 — Please Rename App *2022-03-27, version 1.4* Please remove “2.0” from the app name, it messes up autocorrect on iPhone, “20” gets changed to “2.0” ### 3/5 — Can’t do Questionnaire *2021-12-03, version 1.4* It just keeps loading when trying to do the questionnaire. Even on the official page, away from the app, the questionnaire won’t load.
