## What is Verso?

We didn't start from a business case. We started with a problem: our own inventory was a mess. As a small manufacturing team building complex products, managing multiple suppliers, and scaling into new channels, our spreadsheets couldn't keep up. Every production run felt like a gamble. Every stockout felt preventable, but wasn’t. We looked for software that understood how teams actually work, tools that respected the reality of building physical products with limited resources. We found platforms built for enterprises or simple trackers that couldn't handle assemblies. So we built what we needed. Read more on getverso.eu.


## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 3.45.1 — 2026-08-19

We've listened to a bunch of feedback we've got and updated the macOS app with new features, bug fixes and UI improvements;

1. Bug fix that created duplicate in SKU's, if there are any duplicates in your inventory after this bug a prompt sheet will appear where you can see which one keeps the SKU and which ones will be reassigned a new SKU. 
2. Name changes of parts didn't sync to assembly BOM's properly, now this bug is also fixed
3. In Settings of your workspace you can now select what annotations you like for all prices, American or European notation. 
4. Next to the name field we've added a small info icon to get easy access to the Naming strategy. 
5. In the overview you can use 'cmd + F' to rename multiple items at once. For example when you want to rename a color but want to keep the same sku's. 
Old names remain in already created purchase orders and package slips.

### 3.45 — 2026-06-03

The iOS app got updated mainly UI improvements and bug fixes, goal of the iOS remains the same, to help you gain insight on the road/warehouse and to tick off those package slips paperless.

### 3.41 — 2026-01-12

We've updated the app and launched it on iOS. 

Some bugs that were troubling the views or statuses from the items are fixed and we've added some new features:

1. BOM changes on existing assemblies no have better inventory protection with Rework Orders. Read more here.
2. iOS app launch; it is not meant to carry all functionality of the macOS into your pocket, just the functions and insights you need while you are away from your desk, and maybe in the warehouse. Or for your warehouse personel.
