Every single time I open it, I’m forced to log in all over again. Worse yet, it constantly asks me to re-enable Face ID, completely ignoring the fact that I’ve already set it up dozens of times. It defeats the entire purpose of having biometric login. I get ‘access denied’ and blocked because ‘I’m using a VPN’. I am not using a VPN! By the time I do get through the popular items are gone. On one occasion couldn’t even get on the app. Constantly blocked and denied for no reason. ### 1/5 — Refund problems *2026-06-30, version 4.12.0* We ordered a treadmill on buy now pay over 12 months on my mums account not mine, it’s broke after a couple weeks paid quite a bit off but when we returned it they would not refund us the actual money we paid off just add it as credit, I find this whole situation that had been going on a scam simply put and the customer service representative are completely useless and unreliable they just read from script and go in circles when speaking about what they can and can’t do and refuse us a manager to talk to so obviously this is issue is currently go further. This is my first return and my experience has left me thinking that very are a butch of ignorant thieving liars and in this respect go with Argos when you can as there customer service helps you out very quickly and no issues at least in my experience with faulty returns on buy now pay over certain amount of time items, I don’t think I’ll be using very in a long if at all at least till after the current situation is dealt with and very are dealt with. ### 1/5 — Stop using yodel *2026-06-29, version 4.11.2* Yodel don’t work can’t track ### 1/5 — POOR *2026-06-22, version 4.11.2* Very poor from Very.. Paid for order to come on a Saturday. Saturday came and went with no delivery. Called them up and they said it could take 20 days to come back in stock so wanted a REFUND on my postage. 20 mins later they cancelled my order and said it wasn't in stock. I explained it was in stock hence why i bought it. They wouldn't listen to me, kept talking over me and was very rude. I asked to speak to there manager and they hung up me! I called back to make a complaint for them hanging up on me and for cancelling my order. There was no care or consideration at all. That's the problem with the "international call centres" they don't care at all. ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-06-19, version 4.11.2* When the app isn’t crashing or adding me to an infinite queue or telling me I am blocked for using a vpn (don’t have one installed) the company is overcharging on postage and there is literally no way of contacting them about this or seeking remedy. Four times now I have been double charged postage for separate items that they’ve put in the same package. Ordering 2 items and being charged £3.99 for each of them to be thrown in a plastic bag together is outrageous. £8 for the pleasure of receiving damaged goods. The “24/7 online assistant” always says “something is wrong, try again later”, and if you try and call you end up on hold for 45+ minutes because their customer support is outsourced. Terrible app and company, just don’t seem to care about the customer. ### 1/5 — The app has two jobs. It fails at one. *2026-06-18, version 4.11.2* The app is fine for shopping apart from the fact that you can’t zoom in on pictures. Really dumb. Its other job is to take payments. When I make payments it still says my payment is due and doesn’t update until the next statement. I called up to explain it wasn’t updating and the at they were still demanding payment off me, they said this is working as intended. What the hell. This is the only app that doesn’t register this payment for weeks. I do not believe this can be right. I tend to check very for items now before anywhere else as they nearly always have what I’m looking for and sometimes tend to be cheaper. The app is great and so quick and easy to use. The delivery is always quick so it’s the only place I ever order from for last minute items.
