They don't seem to have a "try & buy" version that allows you to evaluate functionality. I wanted to use this app while on vacation and would have happily bought a working app for $0.99 - too bad they don't offer this. ### 1/5 — Is this a Beta version? *2011-08-12* Conceals vessel data while in "map" mode, even tho this info is available if you jump thru a hoop or two. It repeatedly says a vessel is out of range but then I've been able to go and locate it just by looking among the ships. Then once located manually the software registers what Search could not find. Even so it then says there is no Track data or Movements. Other marine aps work much better. Shame. Clumsy and annoying registration process. Vessel data is apparently delayed by 24 hours, but none of the ANL vessels I searched had any positional data at all. ### 1/5 — RN *2011-04-21, version 1.0* I must be missing something. Apps Ship Finder and Ship Tracking are wonderful and interesting but I cannot see what this is supposed to do. Can somebody enlighten me what I have to do to find out how I can use this to get any information out of it? Cannot see what this is about. A huge lack of general information even after I was able to sign in. No ship names, horrible graphics, lousy user interface, no options to eliminate certain kinds of traffic i.e. if you only want to see passenger ship traffic and nothing else. Provides real time map on mobile phone even though web site does not. Not GPS enabled. Vessel names do not display. ### 2/5 — Fix please! *2011-07-03* This app is impossible to use! You click on a ship and the name shows up as "vesseltracker". The app also crashes like crazy, making it almost impossible to find out anything about a ship.
