But touch control of the app doesn't work. If you minimize the app, then re-open it, the touchpad works. I like the gps and rpm readout, as well as the hour meter. Found using the app to track my gas was not worth it. Drops blue tooth and pairs for all of 45 seconds before loosing signal. Re installed and re set moved the module I’ve done everything and this app will not talk to my motor. It worked fantastic before the last update. ### 3/5 — Good app but buggy *2021-10-18, version 1.11.5* Very informative app on everything going on with my 2021 115 ProXs. Only dislike of the app is my phone disconnects and reconnects every 5 seconds so by the time it does reconnect to the motor and I can start going through the app it says I have to reconnect to the module. Two major things I would add: - It would be nice to have some kind of “simulation mode.” This would allow you to set up and explore data display settings without needing to be connected to your engine. - An Apple Watch app would be huge. This would preserve phone battery and allow users to see data at a glance. ### 4/5 — Available Gauges? *2021-07-05, version 1.11.5* I see in the App Store the basic gauges are provided. But I see on some websites and is review comments Voltage and Temperature are provided. Have these two gauges been removed, or does the app decide which gauges are available? I have a 2017 115 Merc outboard. Would like to see Voltage and Temperature shown as well. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Decent but needs work *2026-05-28* Dealer points you to the new app, and this app is decent and much better than the new one. It’s as though Mercury can’t have one app to manage for the consumer. As many engines this company has out here, it’s frustrating to have an unreliable app to use. 2 apps with no direction as a company. Would be nice to have the features in this app combined into the new app, and make the new one faster. It’s so slow. I had to install an app called light blue and connect to it through that app and it started to work as normal again 👍. App itself has been great ### 5/5 — Great *2025-05-21, version 1.13.6* Very useful. Lots of information. Some customisation but nothing complicated. Just a shame you can’t Bluetooth the information to your chart plotter without extra expensive equipment. Thanks for fixing it ### 5/5 — Excellent ! *2023-07-10, version 1.13.0* Using this with a 2022 Mercury 40hp EFI, Can see voltage, temp, rpm, fuel milage and consumption and hours. My motor came with a blue terminator plug and it works fine...though that colour is not listed in the directions. ### 5/5 — No more analogue gauges *2021-09-21* After installing the VesselView unit and app, I was so impressed, I ripped out all of the problematic analogue gauges. Now just have an iPad mounted in their place. There is now much greater access to more engine parameters and performance measures. ### 5/5 — Updated review! Thank you Mercury support! *2021-09-05* At first my phone would not stay connected to the vessel view device. Sent an email to Mercury support, they quickly replied with what they thought seemed to be a device placement issue. I sent pictures and sure enough, the dealer had not placed it in the recommended spot. Rerouted the wires, and placed it where Mercury recommended, it has not disconnected since!!! You get a lot of cool features and several gauges in one app! Loving it so far. Thank you Mercury! ### 5/5 — Feature request *2021-08-21, version 1.11.5* Love the app! Would be helpful to have fuel economy shown on the live engine data screen. Currently only shows consumption based on per hour usage, would be nice to have miles per gallon/liters per hundred kilometres to save time switching between screens. ### 5/5 — Everything at a Glance. *2021-03-31* After three years and two different boats with mine, i still love it. Would love to see more updates for water pressure and few other things, as well easier for setting the records etc. but all in all it’s an awesome app to keep running in while boating. Would like to see water pressure, as well possibly a way to read the individual hours, rather than only total hours, but hours at each rpm range would be a great addition, for being able to keep closer attention to service intervals etc. ### 5/5 — Total Fuel remaining and fuel burn are way off *2020-08-28* Hey guys since the last update my fuel remaining and burn is waaay off on the “pages” I created. However it’s still accurate under the fuel settings. Can we get that fixed please!? Otherwise I love the AP Update 8/28 The development team made quick work of the fix. All is well again back to 5+ stars!!! **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We have released an update that resolves the issue with the fuel burn rate that is displayed. The app would crash upon start up so I contacted their customer support. They took the time to request my diagnostic loga and fix the issue with the app for me. I can’t say enough great things about how much it meant to me as a customer, for them to do that! Highly recommend this app...
