Albeit there are ever growing brokerage charges for both buying and selling as well as a final nearly 1.84% forex conversion charge while cashing out any money back into rupees. So unless you’ve got game locked in with 100x gains, I’ve decided to move on. 4 stars for the platform. 3 stars for the hidden charges and ever increasing brokerage fees. ### 4/5 — Great *2024-12-14* Using this app since 2020. The app has been great and keeps improving through updates. They even provide tax calculations regarding the investment in accordance with Indian and US taxation laws. I would still wish to have the user interface improved a bit. Some of the information is not very easy to find. ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2024-08-17* I’ve been using this app since to invest in US stocks since 3 years. While this platform does offer multiple sources to invest in, it fails to perform when traffic to the application is high. As an investor, I find this to be a great drawback. It is in these dire situations when we actually want to sell or buy, and this outage happened to me twice which costed me a lot. If the Vested can’t support mobile app with 100% reliability they shouldn’t provide it. ### 4/5 — Excellet Platform But App is laggin *2024-01-23* I am investor since past 2 years and I love the platform BUT with recent updates there is lagging issue in app(ios app i am using). If i open any script in my portfolio and then i click back button at top then it takes some seconds to process it it’s not instant and in that gap if i press the back button again then it clicks twice and bring me out to the main app page from where i need to again tap into us stocks category to access my portfolio.. this lag issue should be solved.. rest everything is working good.. ### 4/5 — Needs Quick Update for Fund transfer *2023-09-06* The app has been the best in the market for investing in the US stock market but its been few months they have stooped vested direct feature due to some regulatory issues. I was expecting a alternatives to be released by Vested, but no updates till now. The adding funds using Axis bank is cumbersome approach and requires you to maintain large minimum balance. ### 3/5 — Nice app for US Investment OR Bad one *2022-02-11* First let’s for whom this app is intended A person who want to invest in the popular US stocks like Meta Google Tesla Apple “For long-term” and a person who have a confidence can make profit more then 11$ as its the transaction fee for withdrawal so it’s all ur Prefer transfer by vested direct (SBM Bank) all works well transactions works seamlessly in my case Second the app is not intended for you if:- If you want to explore and buy penny stock or want all independent stock buy in nasdaq as all the stock listed in nasdaq are not listed inside the app all stock approved by vested are listed in the app Intra-day is not possible in this app you might get Good Faith Violation hit further you can trade with your settled cash only which takes 2 days for 2days your amount is stuck in unsettled cash and it’s not growing sitting there If you want to explore all the features of the nasdaq and power of investing independently of your choice this app is not intended for you just go for a international broaker there are ample of them Going further over my case I first intended to install this app for investing in 2-3 penny stocks but they where not listed customer care reply was if our team accept them then only I can invest in them. Going further I tried intraday transaction and hit the GFV and I have to wait till my funds get settled to invest into another stock After experiencing all this I want to remove my money out of it but I am stuck because I have to pay 11$ fee to withdraw my money so not intended to do as it’s lot of money converted into ₹ depends on your financial condition I faced a pretty bad experience with the I wanted to retrieve my money but not at 11$ loss let’s hope to be good ### 3/5 — No option available to add phone number for Bangladeshi users. +88 is missing *2022-01-17* No option available to add phone number for Bangladeshi users. +88 is missing ### 1/5 — Buggy google authentication *2021-10-23* I’ve used vested with a google login. I use multiple google accounts and I changed phones recently. I downloaded and started using vested app but accidentally I used a different google login than my regular one. Since then I’m unable to change to my actual google login even though I removed third party access from my second google account. Even after uninstalling the app and reinstalling, it directly uses my second google account without even giving an option to select. How will I ever be able to use this app with my original account if this is the case? ### 1/5 — Did not received sign-up bonus. *2021-05-27* As you show in ads it’s not like that. First of all I didn’t received any sign-up bonus as shown above. Secondly, it is not clear that money transfer from banks are also chargeable at higher rates. Whether it is small amount to be transfer. Third, while registration amount is acceptable through UPI payments link but not acceptable to add in account, then why are you taking registration fees also through UPI payment. It’s Irritating thing. ### 1/5 — It takes 10 days after the wire transfer receipt is uploaded. *2021-05-11* It takes 10 days after the wire transfer receipt is uploaded. So when you upload it Will say 3-5 business days. After that when 3-5 business days are over they will say your name, usd, beneficiary, bank name & address are not mentioned in the receipt. Again I have shared the same receipt which I have highlighted details as required. Monopoly in deducting money in the name of forex charges which doesn’t reflect the real Exchange data. Even after complaining the customer support is unable to provide break up of my withdrawal amount. Those who think the rupee depreciation will benefit if invest in US market, the question is who will benefit? As an investor mostly not. As the huge hidden charges of deposit and withdrawal will eat up those values. Also many influencers promoting such companies seems a pure paid ones. ### 1/5 — Becoming worse day by day *2026-06-01* This app used to perform well before. These days the app and the site on the web all of a sudden not working sometimes. Today after the market started the app crashed suddenly. I lost really good price action for 3 stocks because of this. A stock market brooking site should never go down. Now I am starting to look elsewhere as I no longer trust Vested. It’s been 40 minutes after the market opening and not able to reach site and app. ### 1/5 — Personal Data hogger and A Masterclass in how NOT to build a user-centric product *2026-01-29* This app is more interested in harvesting user data than delivering value. The onboarding experience is a textbook example of how to lose trust within the first few minutes. It aggressively asks for personal and professional details - workplace, city, headquarters, and more- with absolutely no clear justification. What makes it worse? The surveys are mandatory. You can’t skip them. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the priorities of this product. Instead of earning trust, the app tries to force compliance. Instead of delivering value first, it demands data upfront. And then has the audacity to claim this is “for the user’s benefit.” It isn’t. It’s for their metrics, their profiling, or their data pipeline-definitely not for the user experience. The onboarding flow feels less like product design and more like a data collection form disguised as an app. If the team wants to understand how to build something genuinely user-centric, they should study companies like Zerodha- where friction is minimized, trust is respected, and value comes before data extraction. Until then, I’d strongly recommend skipping this app entirely. There are far better alternatives that don’t treat users like a dataset. ### 1/5 — Stale & incorrect stock prices shown in latest build *2025-08-21* It’s extremely irresponsible of vested team to put out such a poor quality build in production which shows stale stock prices. Misrepresents data - increase in stock price showing in red and vice versa. Stock price on graph and rest of screen are not consistent. Sometimes the dashboard appears stretched and last columns are cropped out. I have shared already shared these details with Support and with screenshots. How can I trust Vested platform with my money when even the basic details are not even displayed correctly. I would suggest any new users to stay away from this app and try alternatives. ### 1/5 — Disappointed with the App’s Performance and delayed withdrawal *2024-10-30* I’ve been using Vested App for my US stock investments from India, and unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing. Compared to other similar investment apps, Vested is incredibly slow and unresponsive. Every action, from loading my portfolio to checking stock details, takes way too long, making it frustrating to use daily. This lagging performance has made it almost unusable, and despite hoping for updates, nothing has improved. I’ve decided to delete the app and switch to faster, more reliable options. Really bad customer service. *2023-03-29* I suddenly got logged out of my app and now cannot login in cause it keeps taking me back to the login page without giving me a chance to enter my 6 digit password. In addition your customer support via chat is ridiculous. They respond to you initially and then keep you waiting for ever without a single word or seeing the message. Terrible service. Lastly your app is painfully slow to load information. ### 1/5 — Unresponsive Screen *2023-02-20* Hi Vested Team, I recently downloaded Vested in order to invest in US Stock Market and when I was filling up the form for KYC, after adding 2-3 details in the form (like gender, country name, etc.) my phone screen becomes unresponsive once I tried selecting “Which industry do you work in?” dropdown. I scrolled the dropdown to find the right choice for me and after that the screen become unresponsive. I cannot scroll up and down now. I can still go back but this happen every time I try filling up the form for KYC. I request you to please have a look into this glitch. FYI, I use iPhone XR. Thanks. ### 1/5 — Vested Direct is a fail to onboard new customers *2022-11-10* I opened up Vested account and knowing the Vested Direct functionality on account of lower charges as compared to traditional banks (as mentioned in the promoted videos by Vested), I applied for opening up my Vested Direct account alongside but after 3 days of applying, on enquiring about the status I got to know from your team that onboarding of new customers is halted. So if that’s the case then why are you operating for resident Indians and making fool out of them. I want you to apologize for it and publish videos and letting viewers know that new accounts can not be opened. And I want my subscription money to be refunded. ### 1/5 — They will simply rob you of your money!! Stay away!! *2022-02-01* Transferred my money from vested direct account (sbm bank) to vested brokerage account. More than 3 weeks passed, the money is lost!! Neither the vested customer care team have any clue or are helping at all, nor the SBM bank team are replying!! Absolute waste of money investing with them, their customer care don’t have a single clue nor do they care about their clients money!! Pathetic!! Should have invested with Indmoney instead!! Vested and SBM bank are simply running a SCAM and stealing peoples money!! To my surprise, it’s an extremely easy to use app. The customer support team is communicative and quick to resolve any issues. The app has a curated list of stocks, which means you won’t find 100% of the stocks on NYSE or NASDAQ, but you’ll find pretty much any stock you want. But however, wire-transfer of funds should be made hassle free. The banks in india takes more time for verification after that only you can process the application.
