Not necessarily bad, but when the container is not properly padded like this app. The swip up from home feature and double tap for siri feature are activated often. This occurs consistently three times before the long loading process actually starts! On the latest iOS 17 on iPhone. Hoping the developers can address this bug. Otherwise, the app has been satisfactory for managing my Roth 401(k) plan. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2025-07-22* Many things can’t be viewed properly on a phone. It tries to sign in and then blinks a couple times and starts over at the sign-in page again. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience. And given that I work for a tech company, there is no way we would put something that fails this quickly out in the public eye . It’s downright shameful I’m looking forward to our board meeting at the end of the week. ### 1/5 — Sign in, Sign in, Sign in, and Repeat *2025-11-11* This is one of the worst performing apps I’ve ever come across. Impossible to get past the Sign In screen. Just freezes. And throws you back to Welcome Screen. It logs in just like the web site, then hangs up (unlike the web site), then returns to the login page. Does not matter if I use FaceID or not. Vestwell, please fix and test before release. Fortunately, I can access the website. ### 1/5 — “Planned downtime” that lasts days??? *2025-03-30* First of all, it never said anywhere that there would be planned downtime (however it also wasn’t possible to log into the app because of a days long glitch). Well, the app has been inaccessible with a screen saying “planned downtime” for DAYS now and doesn’t say anywhere when it will be back. Worst experience I’ve ever had with an app. **Developer response:** We sincerely apologize for the trouble caused by the recent update and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Thank you for your patience. ### 1/5 — App malfunctioning BADLY, can’t even access my account *2025-03-22* They did a bad update. First, I was only able to log into the app once. Then, every time I opened the app, I’d tried to log in again (and whether I used biometrics or my password made no difference), the app would freeze on a light yellow blank screen and would NEVER load. I would have to reinstall the app where I could again log in one time, and any consequent logins, it would freeze again. Now, the glitch is even worse. Whether I reinstall or not, I can’t even log into my account!!! Even using biometrics, my password, inputting security code, etc. it just freezes and then takes me back to the login page (doesn’t log me in). The glitch is so bad, I literally can’t access my account. I tried reporting the issue but their ‘developer website’ has nowhere to report an issue and they don’t ’allow reporting’ through Apple either. Terrible. 0% recommend.
