Right now all I can do is swipe down until I reach what I’m looking for. Would be great if they let us tap on the icon saying our hours and take me to all the logs I put in that category. ### 3/5 — Tracking hours *2025-01-12, version 1.1.3* I download this app last year and inputted my local clinics and non profits that I work and volunteer at. Overtime, the app didn’t save all the information of the local profit and nonprofit locations. It keeps on making me create the location again and again. But there’s a bug where when I type in the clinic I worked at, it won’t show up even though I’ve already added it. One suggestion I have is to allow us users to see the complete total for all different types of animals we’ve worked with while shadowing or other animal experiences. That would make it easier on us users to tell which group of animals we’ve worked on for how long, and tell us which animals we might need more hours in! ### 5/5 — Amazing! It allows you to specify the animals you worked with as well as record what was done during your time. This app also allows you to find other opportunities within the state that may interest you. Only adding hours by the day is not efficient, especially for those of us who have done 2000+ hours before downloading this app. The button to add hours into an entry also only goes by ones. This app has a lot of potential, but it is very elementary and those who are serious about going into vet med are better off using a spreadsheet. ### 3/5 — Kinda annoying ngl *2026-07-18, version 1.7.2* Listen, I like the app, Its easier just put in my hours on the app than reopen my spreadsheet everytime I finish anything for pre-vet, but there is also so much that I dislike about it. It looks so low budget, like really low budget. The amount of time I accidentally clicked on viewing the locations when trying to edit my experience was insane. Talking about location, can be please get a way to edit them? That way people who make mistakes (talking from experience here, didn’t realize I put the wrong state) would be able to fix them? I also kinda wish the app would be more of a community, such as if everyone had a profile where everyone on the app can view their experience and badges instead of just having peoples names appear for a bit on the news section when they reach a milestone. I feel like leadership boards would also be fun, such as who did the most hours in vet experience, etc. I feel like this app has a lot of possibilities, but right now it just looks sad and annoying to use. ### 3/5 — No UK options *2026-07-15, version 1.7.2* I want to be able to use this app so bad but the clinic I’m shadowing at is located in the UK and there’s no options other than United States or Canada for location :( ### 3/5 — Good for hours, not for finding experience *2025-07-20, version 1.6.0* App is great for logging and keeping track of hours. I did try the “browse experience” and selected for my state, but nothing in my state came up and instead experience on the other side of the country popped up. I previously was using a paper chart, but would constantly forget to update my log; having it on my phone is much more convenient and I am able to log experiences from anywhere! It is so super easy to log hours and find opportunities within your community to gain more experiences. As a current pre-vet student who just applied to vet school and had to log all my hours, this app is a great way to do that. I had logged all my hours on my notes app before, but this app makes that process so much easier. When it comes time to apply for vet school, you have to log all your vet, animal, and other hours while describing what you did. This app allows you to easily document each experience along with a description of what you did each time. It’s also great for finding new opportunities to get hours! In the explore tab, you can search places other people on the app have earned hours which is a helpful thing for those looking for a place to start. ### 5/5 — Amazing PreVet App! *2022-09-25, version 1.0.11* One of the biggest struggles of pre-vet med is staying on top of logging in hours. I find this app very user friendly and helpful to log in hours with ease! I really wish I had this before I applied, it would’ve made life a whole lot easier. Only reason I would give it 4 stars is because every time I tried to add a new location, it would not let me add pictures which was the only thing keeping me from saving the location and adding my experience. I tried closing out of the app and reattempting but it did not work so I nave up.
