Money and well spent ### 5/5 — Yay!! Its about time! *2010-08-01, version 0* Thank you! I've been awaiting a VTNE app for a while now. Keep checking the store just incase, I was shocked to actually find this today! Bought it immediately. Not bad! Between this and the new CD from the Mosby 4th Ed Q&A book, I'll be prepared. Noticed a weird question asking for how many pills and really the answers were single dosage. So some questions may need better wording. But prog seems very nice & helpful. Waste if time and money if using for review for the actual VTNE. If studying for VTNE use reputable sources not stupid apps! ### 1/5 — Redundant *2012-03-02, version 1.2.2* At first I thought it was worth the money- 200 questions, but the questions never change! I have answered the same questions over and over to the point of memorization. While this is not a bad thing, it would be nice to get some fresh material. I don't even want to really use the app due to boredom of answering the same questions I have answered time and time again. If it would update the material more often I would give it 5 stars- until then, I give it 2. ### 2/5 — NEEDS TO BE FIXED! *2013-10-26, version 2.3* I payed for this app only to discover frequent screw-up through out the questions and answers! Who ever created this app needs to sit down and review the questions inside the study mode section because it's a lot of issues. Example: one question wanted to know the proper way of correcting a error made in a medical record. The options were white out, obliterate, and cross out (forgot the 4th) I chose CROSS OUT which is the correct answer. The app told me INCORRECT ANSWER TRY AGAIN.. I knew I was right but I chose white out ( which it let me bypass as If that was the correct answer) The next screen it said the correct answer was: CROSS OUT I'm furious I paid money and I want my monies worth. There is other questions messed up like that as well as many other screw ups once their questions are fixed and answers fixed as well it would b a five star app. It gives you great detail on why the answer is correct which is great! until then I'm working with a 2 star app and since I discovered multiple problems this is not an app you would use by itself to practice for the VTNE.. Although with some of the questions the answers don't always correspond with the letter. Example: A. Dentin is the correct answer, but the app has C. Root as correct but the answer key will say C. The only problem I'm having is that it doesn't save my scores or answers to the tests. It shows that I have not taken any. I am using a 3GS with the latest update. Would be nice to review and see how I'm doing. Fix this and I'll give it a higher score. I only studied this app and practiced math from the "review questions and answers for vet techs" book by mosby and I actually recognized questions from this app during my test. I personally don't believe in spending money on apps, but this one was recommended by a veterinary friend whom I trust. There are over 700 questions that the app contains, and there is a study mode and test mode. Whatever answer you choose, the app includes a brief yet somewhat detailed explanation of what the answer is and why it's the answer. If you're the type of person who needs to be asked questions or quizzed/tested to retain information, I HIGHLY recommend this app to you. I was needing to pay more attention to studying drugs for my boards, and this app really helped refresh my memory in a timely fashion.
