In the instances I've used it thus far it has been most helpful, and I would recommend it to my classmates. Please make more veterinary based iPhone applications! ### 5/5 — Fantastic app! *2010-10-24* A very nice application for everyday use in the hospital. This is a big time-saver for calculating dosages and CRI's, and it's a nice way for me to double-check my math. Very customizable, for example, the CRI dosages can be changed to mcg/kg/sec, or mcg/kg/min, or mg/kg/sec or min instead. The anesthesia drug calculation section has recommended dosages discreetly in the corner of the screen, and will already suggest the most common formulation, ie: diazepam at 5mg/mL, although you can change it if you like. I am glad to see it is now available for purchase. This is great for vets and even has features I will have my techs use. I got far more use out of it in my 1 year of beta testing than the asking price so I purchased it with barely a second thought. Impossible to calculate anything less than 1mg/kg/min ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2011-08-23* I thought I was getting a program that would tell me drug dosing. Instead it just gave me a calculator and no recommended dosages for common drugs used in vet medicine. ### 3/5 — Problems with fractioned doses *2018-04-30* Good resources, but after upgrade the key “,” is no long working. ### 4/5 — Great app *2010-12-25* A great app, overall, but a few things would make it very helpful to a GP like me: -- Allow a user setting to use lbs as the default over kgs. -- Why is there no overweight option for dogs, just cats? -- It would be crazy helpful to be able to store my typical dosages for commonly used drugs and just select a drug from my list. Maybe allow the user to store up to 20 drugs for quick calculation? Overall excellent, but I'd love to see these changes in a future version, would make it useful enough to me to be a 5. ### 5/5 — Love the app but crashes on iOS 14 *2021-02-01* Love the app, but I am unable to open it since my phone updated to iOS 14 I was unable to find a contact number or email for the developers of this app to notify them of the problem. Please update ASAP!!! An update is in order; After getting in contact with Phil (the developer of this app) he was able to put me back on track in no time at all. It was an easy fix of deleting then reloading the app. I am very happy to have this app back in my toolbox! As a vet, I used this app quite a bit. A month ago I tried to use the app but got nothing. So bummed. Are you not updating it for the latest Apple operating system? Like many, I am baffled by CRI calculations and have found relatively little on the internet to help. Would you please provide a more ample explanation of the process , detail by detail (OK, “for dummies” would be a more appropriate term) and provide a choice to enter pounds that would automatically be transformed into kgs in the background as was done in other calculations. Otherwise this application is EXCELLENT!!!! ### 5/5 — Missing Something!! *2018-04-27* Please add an “Overweight” option for Animal State under “Dogs” in the Energy Requirements Calculator! :) ### 5/5 — Great app *2014-02-02* Just used it for calculating potassium infusion rate in DKA cat. The only minor modification I'd like to see us the ability to toggle on/off certain functions from the main view.
