### 2/5 — Downhill

*2026-06-08, version 6.17.0*

Was getting temp insurance for a while and then all of a sudden it says it cant offer insurance even though I was getting temp cover repeatedly, this needs to improve with an actual reason rather than just picking whether you want to insure me on that day or not.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-03-21, version 6.13.0*

As an 18 year old it’s expensive to insure but when I need insurance for the day it’s about £20 with is amazing

### 2/5 — Price

*2026-03-09, version 6.12.0*

I’ve be using the app for a long time and it was great and very affordable with the same car went to ensure it again now the prices have been extortionate from being really affordable 30 pounds for an hour from 20 pounds for a day not great

### 5/5 — Jazaasto

*2026-02-10, version 6.12.0*

One of the best insurance what we need for the short term or for some emergency insurance

### 5/5 — best of best

*2026-02-10, version 6.12.0*

it’s simple

### 1/5 — Veygo not good

*2026-02-04*

Bad app decides itself when you can get insurance one day it will give me it the next day it will say can’t insure you this has happened so many times this app is jst not it so many bugs mistakes and issues I hope they can fix this problem because I was glad with the app until it wants to pick and choose when I can get insurance either I can get it or not don’t make it so one day you can do it but if you need it on an other day it has a chance of saying you can’t be insured on this vehicle so how did I get it the first time if I’m not able to be insured

**Developer response:** Hi there, Thanks for flagging this! We’re really sorry the app has been crashing. That’s not what we want to hear. Please try updating to the latest version of the app, and if it’s still happening, reach out via chatbot to submit a case to our Customer Care team, so we can look into it for you. Kind regards, Lauren

### 5/5 — Flexible and convenient

*2026-02-03*

It can be a pain, finding a good car insurance quote. It seems very difficult to get short term car insurance. However, with Veygo it was so easy to do. My situation has changed so I extended twice. It was so easy to extend and it was good value. All done with the app so no waiting around in phone queues, no having to repeat my details, just efficient.

**Developer response:** Hi there, Thanks for such a thoughtful review! We’re really glad we could make short-term cover easy and that extending was just as simple. No queues, no hassle, just sorted. ⭐ Kind regards, Lauren

### 1/5 — Avoid! Use cuvva instead.

*2026-01-28*

I contacted Veygo customer service and explained that I needed help and I was stuck, just bought a car and couldn’t drive it away as the new reg of the car wasn’t updated on their system.
On response they misread or even failed to read what I said, they made numerous failed communications, I told them I needed the matter to be resolved ASAP, which even up until the next day they failed to do.
All within this time Cuvva got it done within a hour of me contacting them.
Don’t ever use this service, go for cuvva if u value customer service and response time.
Even a day later with Veygo the problem wasn’t resolved, an apology wasn’t given and they gave me the wrong advise, they told me to look for a quote under the OLD REG even though the rights to use the old Reg have been given up months ago. Absolute joke of a system. AVOID & USE CUVVA OR SOMEONE ELSE.

**Developer response:** Hi there, We’re really sorry to hear about your experience, especially when you were trying to drive your new car away. That’s understandably frustrating. It sounds like we didn’t get things resolved as quickly or clearly as we should have, and we really apologise for that. We’d really like the chance to look into this properly and review what happened. Please reach out to us via our chat bot by submitting a case to our Customer Care team with your details so that we can investigate and follow up with you directly. Kind regards, Lauren

### 1/5 — No human beings to contact

*2026-08-27*

I randomly received an email after a years coverage saying that they’d cancelled my subscription because I hadn’t downloaded the app within the 14 days they’d given me via text message, except I never received a text message, and I already had had the app for a year at that point. When I tried to find a means of contacting customer service to sort this out, there is no phone number, no email, and apparently their social media’s are down for now. All there is is a robot yes-man, that just regurgitates the same stuff from the website, it doesn’t provide actual insight, and it can’t connect you to a real person to talk to. I was left panicked and completely alone, and just gutted by how terrible the customer service and lack of care was. It’s good when it works, but when it goes wrong, it’s better to find someone else, because Veygo has no-one to help you.

### 1/5 — System is backwards — honest drivers pay the most, fake ones get accepted!

*2026-08-26*

It makes no sense at all. Real people with real, valid driving licences get treated like criminals — either declined straight away, or given such ridiculously high prices it's impossible to afford. Meanwhile, I truly believe they accept people with fake licences and give them normal, lower prices.

Then when those people have an accident or something goes wrong, the insurance company suddenly starts investigating, finds the licence was fake, refuses to pay out, and leaves everyone stuck.

Honest, legal drivers like me — who follow every rule — get punished. We either can't get insured at all, or we pay way too much. It feels like the whole system is backwards. Why should I need a fake licence just to get a fair price? Someone needs to look into how these companies operate — it's not fair, it's not right, and honest people are the ones suffering."

### 1/5 — Unreliable!

*2026-08-07, version 6.19.0*

Cancelled my learners insurance 1 week before my test with almost no advance, can’t get them on the phone!! They will NOT talk to you unless you need to make a claim, their phone line is useless.
They refuse to give me ANY info as to why it’s been cancelled besides “business”, as if we weren’t doing business when they help themselves to my monthly direct debit.
Absolutely disappointed and frustrated, very unprofessional!!

### 1/5 — App works - but avoid if you can

*2026-07-27*

The app experience is very smooth. But since then not great. I had to make a windscreen claim for a repair after a chip hit it (you’d think quite straightforward).
I put in the claim, got booked in and sorted with autoglass. And then get a text saying more information needed and to check emails. Checked emails - nothing. Speak to the chatbot - someone will come back to you. Then autoglass send me an invoice saying insurer declined the claim and you need to pay. This time I email Veygo instead of using the chatbot. No reply. Week goes by, further autoglass email chasing payment.
Another chatbot request. Still no response. That’s where we are today.

### 1/5 — cancelled my policy

*2026-07-26, version 6.18.0*

I agree with the cancellation of my policy but then they said in the email it won’t effect future policies with other companies at all but it has as now I can’t find any

### 1/5 — Prices Doubled

*2026-07-10, version 6.17.1*

Used to be great when I used it for learner driver insurance.

Prices in the past few months have doubled. Incredibly expensive for an hour now.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t load

*2026-06-30*

I chose a black box monthly subscription as I’m using a friends car while I save up for a new one as mine broke down. I’ve had a black box before and understand it can be sensitive when going round roundabouts or accelerating onto a fast road. But the app doesn’t open I have been unable to get onto the app to change wether I am a passenger or the driver it takes forever to load so I just gave up a lot of the time. This means I’ve been evaluated based on drives of my friends and family while I’ve been a passenger. I got an email today saying my policy has been cancelled I didn’t receive the previous email notifying me of this as it went into my junk. I am now unable to be insured by them and thank god for it. You need to make sure people can actually use your app cause this is ridiculous I’ll be looking at other apps to be insured on now good riddance!

### 1/5 — Wouldn’t recommend no help at all

*2026-06-11, version 6.17.1*

Had an insurance policy with them for 8 months out of the blue they cancelled my policy and won’t tell me why even tho it’s my policy amazing customer service won’t even give you an answer to your own policy

### 1/5 — Extortionate Prices

*2026-05-19, version 6.16.0*

I used to use Veygo a few times a week for 1 or 2 hour covers, costing between £14–£18. It is now insane to see it costs as much as £54 for an hour, and at first I was not sure if this was a glitch, but sure enough the price remained. Sometimes it’s lower at £26.88 an hour. The same car, same driver (with no FPN’s) and yet price goes up. I have never used the cover since and prefer to use other short term cover providers like Tempcover.

### 1/5 — Money waste

*2026-02-10, version 6.12.0*

I paid Veygo for learner driver’s insurance £145.16 for a month, after a week the car insured broke down and I had to change the insurance policy to a different car, Veygo doesn’t allow you to change the car in your policy and makes you cancel your policy and start a new one. When I cancelled, after a week the refunded me £59 out of £145.16 JUST AFTER A WEEK. And after sending several emails, they tried to force their refund policy/calculations as CORRECT? Saying that’s how the calculate refund?? Go for any insurance but Veygo, their no hidden fees or full refund policy is a lie.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 100% recommend

*2026-09-02*

i genuinely can’t recommend Veygo enough. I first found Veygo after a friend recommended the app to me, and I used it to insure my first car while I was learning to drive. I was paying around £80 a month for learner insurance, which I thought was really reasonable, and it gave me a good idea of what having my own fully comprehensive insurance would actually be like.

When I passed my test at 18, I switched over to my current car, a BMW 1 Series convertible. I was honestly expecting insurance to be ridiculous, especially as a newly qualified 18-year-old, but Veygo quoted me around £250 a month with a black box. Other companies either turned me down completely or were quoting me up to £600 a month WITH a black box for the exact same car.

The 3-monthly repricing is also genuinely one of my favourite things about Veygo. It gives you the opportunity to improve your price based on how you’re actually driving rather than just being stuck with the same price for an entire year. I also really appreciate the 10% bonus/discount for using Veygo as a learner and then moving onto a full UK licence.

Customer service and support have been great for me too. I’ve found that if you actually cooperate with them, follow the rules and communicate when you need help, they’re a really good company to deal with.

As an 18-year-old trying to insure my own car, I honestly don’t think I’d have found anything remotely as affordable elsewhere. Veygo has genuinely made driving my own car possible for me, and I’m really grateful for that.

5 stars from me thank you Veygo! ❤️
