### 1/5 — Meeting planners beware! VFairs hated by users and staff

*2024-04-28*

This app is the single worst technology investment we have ever made as an organization. Fellow meeting planners, save yourselves; the 3-star App Store reputation is inflated if anything. Basic features are missing, and the support is as surly as they are inept. Can you create a speaker who is also an attendee? Not without making up a fictional email address. Can you attach said speaker to a session from the session page? Also no. Do sessions do anything as basic as default to CHRONOLOGICAL SORT? No as well. The entire backend is spaghetti code “designed” (and I use that term loosely) to serve the needs of non-Western hybrid or virtual events through an extremely awkward virtual trade show module that sits squarely in the uncanny valley. All actual in-person event functionality is haphazardly tacked on top of this garbage infrastructure with zero attention to UX on the internal or customer-facing side. Is this a fluke? Are they working to fix any of these issues and deliver the product they purport to sell? Nope—I provided the same feedback a year ago, much more gently, after the first of our two year contracts and almost nothing has changed. I should end this missive with a quick note that our attendees also loathed using this app, and it had the worst reviews and engagement of the half-dozen others we’ve tried over the years. Caveat emptor!

### 1/5 — Inaccessible for disabled participants

*2024-04-27*

This app is pretty terrible from an accessibility perspective. If you are using this for any sort of government conference, whether it’s local, state or federal, this app is likely illegal for you to use as it is inaccessible and harmful for disabled citizens and participants. Beware. the website is somewhat better but this app is far from accessible. Developers need to go back and redesign so that it works with Apple built in accessibility features such as voiceover and zoom.

### 1/5 — Updated twice in the last month and neither version opens on my new phone

*2024-02-06*

I don’t recommend this for the show. I’m going to today because I can’t even open the app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t make sense

*2023-11-07*

This is not a good app. The list of “My Events” isn’t in chronological order, instead it’s just random. And the actual schedule is just a giant blob with no titles for the different events. It also loads very slowly.

### 1/5 — Account gone

*2023-09-05*

I was attending an event. My account just disappeared

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-06-06, version 11.0*

Very disappointed. I can’t get into the App. A blank white screen appears and nothing more. Can’t access the conference. Waste of registration fee!

### 1/5 — Not accessible for blind people using Apple voiceover on iPhone

*2023-03-05*

Not accessible for blind people using voice over. Reads very little with the screen reader features a voiceover, and the controls. Do not even let you get through the initial set up process to select the event you were going to.

### 5/5 — Better than cvent

*2024-05-08*

We’ve worked with cvent before, VFairs is more intuitive to set up and use

### 5/5 — Very easy to use

*2023-07-19*

I’m really impressed by the user friendliness of this application. Very easy to navigate and view content.

### 5/5 — Super Easy to use and very helpful

*2023-07-19, version 11.8*

Used the app for an event. I found it very easy to use. It made navigating my way around the event very convenient and i loved how the details of all activities in the event were just a tap away. Moreover, it was great to get alerts about whats happening so i didn’t miss anything.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing features!

*2023-07-19, version 11.8*

The app is amazing. It can be fully customised to fit the event we are running. The features are endless & exactly what we needed for our event. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new mobile app provider.

### 5/5 — Best application

### 5/5 — Amazing Experience!

*2023-01-13*

### 5/5 — Great app - clean UI and simple to use

*2023-01-13*

Better than most apps on the market - easy to navigate and easy to use

### 5/5 — Next level mobile app for live events!

*2023-01-13*

This app was a game-changer for our conference! Not only was the agenda and networking easy to find and access, but the best part was the ease of our attendee check-in process. We used Cvent’s mobile app in the past and I can honestly say vFairs has surpassed theirs by far.

### 5/5 — Incredibly intuitive

*2023-01-13*

Easiest app to use for events!

### 5/5 — Finally, an app that does what I need!

*2023-01-13*

This app is user friendly and easy to use. Definitely the best for checking in at events!
