The app is quick and easy to scan, but the quality of the images is often blurred or is stained due to the light. The corners are not properly cut or straightened and you can still see finger even after editing it. They do not have a trial period or refund option, otherwise I would have requested it. I haven't had to pay any premium fees so far. The issue is that when you try to do multiple files at once the app crashes every single time. And it only allows very few pages bf paid subscription. Not to mention it is impossible to remove its pc application once you install it. Also the info site is not in English. ### 1/5 — Comments *2026-04-20* Medium ### 1/5 — ユーザーサポートがどうしようもない *2026-04-19* PCとスマホ（タブレット）の連携を売りにしていたため、本を丸々一冊分スキャンしそのデータがPCへ行くようにしたところ、OCR処理がされていなかった。 サポートにやり方を尋ねたところ、「とらちゃん」なる人物から、現在その機能はご利用いただけませんとの回答。金払ってスキャンしてそれが全部無駄になった。 スマホアプリ側でOCR処理をしてからPCに送る必要があるならその旨記載して、チェックボックスなり作るのが普通じゃないのか。 サポートも本当にそこの社員なのかもよくわからない、子供の遊びのような対応。 YouTubeで評価が高かったから買ってみたが後悔しかない。年会費で払わなかったことだけが救い。 ### 1/5 — Can’t turn off autoscan *2026-03-28, version 1.33.1* I was using the app for a few months and suddenly autoscan won’t turn off. It’s a great resource for my job and school work. ### 5/5 — Best scanner for me *2026-07-15, version 1.33.8* I nearly didn’t go for this scanner because it wasn’t obvious how to collate pages together. Once I worked that out I knew this was the scanner for me. I needed one that could scan books and magazines with accurate charts to get patterns into knitCompanion. It’s missing one star because I’d like to sometimes reorganise pages before sharing. At the minute if I miss a page I’m having to delete the pages after it and then rescan to get them in the right order. I’ve tried selecting them in the right order but they just revert back to the order they were scanned in. If this is a feature I’ve yet to discover it. ### 5/5 — One of the best apps ever *2026-07-14, version 1.33.8* I just got this app a few hours ago and it’s so good I had to jump on and leave a review. I had an old out of print paperback book with all sort of highlights in it. I always wanted a digital copy to reference. And now with AI I desperately needed it so I could more easily leverage its content. And a whole bunch of other physical and digital books I own. This app allowed me to easily and quickly scan the old book. Removed all the high lights perfectly. Flattened the pages. Turned them to text. All in a flash. Then I did a kindle book just taking pictures of my computer screen. It’s so easy, fast and effective I’d give it 800 stars if I could. Etc. you sometimes come across software written by talented software engineers who seem utterly clueless about optimization of the UI or communicating to the users how to actually use the program.
