## What is VFX Slate?

Slate your set data with a code the camera can read.

VFX Slate is a quick, reliable way to slate HDRIs, set-reference stills and witness camera footage. Shoot the code at the head of each capture, and every folder that comes off the card knows what it is.

Even better paired with VFX Offloader - a second free tool that reads the slates and automatically builds the full folder tree for the shoot day.

For quick level readings, Level uses the native iPhone gyroscope for realtime tilt and roll.
