## What is Vgent PdM?

Vgent helps maintenance teams inspect industrial equipment using vibration measurements and operating sound. Keep measurement points, reports and repair follow-up together for motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes and other equipment.

CAPTURE VIBRATION OR SOUND
Use the built-in microphone for acoustic inspections and unusual-noise checks. Vibration measurement requires a compatible, calibrated USB vibration sensor connected and bound to Vgent using its supplied pairing QR code. Acoustic recordings reflect changes in sound; they do not replace calibrated vibration measurements.

BUILD REPEATABLE INSPECTIONS
Create equipment records with photos, measurement locations, directions and operating conditions. Follow multi-point capture rounds, review progress and resume unfinished work. Generate equipment QR labels and scan them to find equipment already saved on your device.

REVIEW THE EVIDENCE
View overall and point-level reports, waveforms, spectra and capture quality. Add manual review labels to the relevant points while retaining the original diagnostic findings. Filter report history and export PDF reports for maintenance discussions.

FOLLOW CHANGES AND REPAIRS
Compare compatible measurements over time. Record repair actions, dates, outcomes and photos, then review suitable follow-up measurements. Preview the normal and abnormal samples used when rebuilding a device trend model.

KEEP RECORDS ORGANIZED
Export and restore complete backup folders through the system Files picker. Backup status helps identify changes since the last export. Optional data contribution is off by default and is separate from access to diagnosis features.

OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE INTERPRETATION
On supported devices, interpretation organizes saved diagnostic evidence for review without changing the original diagnosis severity. This feature requires iOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence enabled, a ready on-device model and a supported app language. Reports and trend conclusions remain available when interpretation is unavailable.

For useful comparisons, keep measurement location, sensor mounting or microphone position, and equipment operating conditions consistent. Vgent supports inspection and maintenance review; results depend on capture quality and the available evidence.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3 — 2026-10-29

• Added monthly and annual subscriptions for data collection and diagnostics with compatible vibration sensors.
• Streamlined sensor setup and pairing, with clearer connection status, calibration details, and management controls.
• Improved subscription page loading, purchase progress feedback, and error recovery.
• Refined report layouts, deletion controls, and visual consistency on iPad.
• Historical data and reports remain accessible after a subscription expires. Sensors paired with a pairing code remain unaffected.

### 2.2.1 — 2026-10-26

This update improves diagnostic reports and trend analysis, and adds support for more languages:

• Clearer reports: Key metrics, waveforms, amplitude spectra, and envelope spectra are now grouped in a single “Current Capture Data” card.
• Easier navigation: “Overall Diagnosis Report” is now “Equipment Diagnosis Report.” Reports with one measurement point display capture data and AI trend analysis directly.
• More intuitive trends: Amplitude and envelope spectrum trends appear together. When only one valid record is available, a helpful message replaces the chart.
• 10 new languages: German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Malay, and Traditional Chinese.

### 2.2 — 2026-10-21

Version 2.2 makes equipment inspections, report review and maintenance follow-up easier to manage.

• A clearer capture flow: start the first capture after creating equipment, or resume an unfinished round with its start time and progress in view.
• Consistent measurement points: point numbers match across diagrams, capture lists and reports. Setup guidance and confirmation before discarding unsaved changes help prevent rework.
• More precise manual review: lists, filters and report summaries reflect reviewed status. Select affected points in multi-point reports while keeping original diagnostic evidence.
• Better maintenance follow-up: repair history is grouped by report, follow-up comparisons check timing and compatibility, and training previews show the samples and labels being used.
• Clearer data status: backup reminders detect edits, deletions and attachment changes. Loading errors have retry options, and report deletion asks for confirmation of its scope.
• Improved help and interpretation: find troubleshooting by topic and email support more easily. On-device interpretation uses verified evidence while preserving original diagnosis severity.
• Clearer iPad layouts: improved columns, card sizing and alignment across model and equipment details, reports, capture, settings, support and backup screens, with layouts that adapt to portrait, landscape, narrow windows and larger text.

### 2.1.1 — 2026-10-19
