However, there’s some bad gameplay mechanics that make this game almost impossible to enjoy. Serving, blocking and spiking the ball are easy enough, however, spikes are always received by the opposition and there’s no scale in difficultly. On the other hand, actually receiving spikes is impossible because it needs insane reaction time plus if you don’t tap exactly where the ball is going to land then you’ve basically lost the point. There’s no reward for good spikes and if you miss the block it’s basically game over. The AI never seems to make mistakes. ### 2/5 — Has potential but greedy in app currency *2022-10-25, version V1.0.21* I’ve been looking for a nice volley game in years and this one caught my eyes. Controls are simple and game has lots of potential. Unfortunately, there’s only one difficulty level (extremely difficult) and buffs, which help you make the game easier and playable, cost points. Points, instead of being redeemable or accumulated via watching ads, waiting 24hs to play again, purchasing the ad free game OR game performance, can only be acquired by purchases. So basically you need to keep purchasing points over and over again to be able to simply play the game. The greediest model I’ve seen in App Store. Deleted. ### 3/5 — Decent game *2022-09-19, version V1.0.19* This game can be difficult to learn at first but once you get the hang of it it becomes challenging and it doesn’t become easy. The couple of problems I have is that like 25% of the time when my serve or a set goes up and I click to ball to hit it sometimes just doesn’t register. This leaves the ball to just drop on my court losing me a point and sometimes the game. Another problem I have that isn’t to bothering is that you can’t do a simultaneous block you have to individually click which I find rather annoying if I want to shut down a spike. But what I do is just position one blocker to cover either cross or straight and let whoever is left to just pick up the ball to for a play. One more thing that has happen is when a new set begins and I am serving it calls 4th touch and I lose a point.
