It makes no sense that when i minimize the show i am getting ads literally every 2 mins that last 3 min and i have to watxh them in order to get back to the show it makes you not even want to watch the show anymore. Id rather find somewhere that pirate’s the episodes or streams them for free before i watch it on this app. ESPECIALLY when you have a vh1 subscription it should never be this many ads. What is the point of the subscription? An awful app and an awful subscription. While I understand that sometimes ads are a thing, I don’t understand why I’m coming to the app to watch the show after it aired on tv to still watch ads, they are still highly too frequent and long running. I feel like sometimes I watch more ads then shows and they’re too political and repetitive, I’ve gone into each episode and it starts with 4 ads. Them to top it off it runs for like 5 min-8 into the actual show and then there’s like 4-6 more and then sometimes it glitches and then there’s only been like two different scenes and then a clip of the show itself and then more commercials. The show keeps playing sound with no video and then you have to restart the entire app to make it work again. Then when you try and fast forward to when you were last watching, it makes you watch the ads all over again and then stalls out, I just give up at this point. The app sometimes freezes in the middle of the episode. The app won’t show where you left off on the home screen you have to into the show you were watching if you close the app. My biggest complaint is how many times the same as shows. It’s absolutely ridiculous to have the same movie ad replay 5 times in a row! Yes same ad 5 times! You really need to change this up it is extremely annoying to not only see the same ad at every break during the show but 5 times in a row! Add new material please. ### 3/5 — Love it and hate it *2018-02-21, version 4.2.1* I absolutely love the ability to watch my missed shows anywhere or anytime; however, since my update whenever the phone is locked or I switch between screens I have to start over from the beginning of the show. That is so frustrating having to find your spot again each time it happens. I didn’t have this issue before and LOVED using the app before this glitch. Please change it back so that our shows will stay at the spot where we left it. ### 3/5 — It could be better.. *2018-01-02* This is the main way I watch my shows. But this app has major issues for me. While I'm watching a show, sometimes I have to exit out for a moment and once I go back to continue watching, it either starts over from the very beginning or it makes me watch commercials again. And then I have to watch another commercial once the regular break comes up. I'm also trying to watch an episode now and it's telling me "the video is not found or no longer available due to date or rights restrictions". This is a brand new episode that just aired yesterday.
