Which therefore shows up as an unknown device. So if the point of the app is to help understand which device is using what amount of data. You can not get true facts. If I had a choice to get off Vista internet service. Doesn’t let you on your own wifi . Keeps throwing you off your wifi. What a waste . Waste of money also uses up your wifi. Plus now it’s not even protecting from threats. ### 1/5 — Useless customer service and useless and confusing everything else also *2022-08-03, version 2.1.7* I would like to take this opportunity to state that I have never experienced such terrible customer services along with inadequate resolutions to any and all problems in over 60 years of being a consumer. I have been a loyal customer with Viasat for the past 6 years. Due to the fact I, along with many others are being held similar to a hostage situation with internet service availability due to living in a rural area and lack of other providers. Therefore we have to take what we can get and Viasat is it in my location. I was approved for FCC broadband benefit but here I sit over a year later after being approved and I still have not been able to register with Viasat to receive the monthly rebate on my billing account. I have complained to the FCC and Viasat responds with a condescending and untrue statements of facts and even denying that I ever tried to apply through their customer service e I very rarely write a review unless I have experienced something above average or below and subpar. I have been a Viasat customer for the past 6 years and this company and its customer service and customer relations has gone from mediocre to absolutely and astoundingly worthless. I am signed up for text alerts which I have stopped receiving even though I periodically call customer service and they always re assure me that I am signed up to receive them and then condescendingly insinuate that it is a user problem specific to me and I must be doing something wrong. ### 1/5 — Totally useless *2022-07-04, version 2.1.7* This has got to be the most idiotic app. There’s not even a tab or any sort of place to get shield premium. So frustrating! ### 1/5 — Major omission *2022-05-23, version 2.1.7* Nice idea, but only shows a limited 7 day snapshot of percentages of total usage. It does not show actual amount or any finer granularity. The unforgivable flaw is that it seems to miss some major device usage. I had a apparent runaway device which a Viasat support person was able to provide minimal info about - and it doesn’t show at all in this app. Useless if you are looking for broken or unauthorized access. ### 1/5 — Another bad app *2022-03-08, version 2.1.4* Their other app always had tons of bugs glitches and issues, now they have this app which apparently is the only way to from now on view what devices are currently connected. They took away that feature from their other app and put it in this one. It makes no sense, why do I need two apps now? This one is even worse with glitches and bugs than their other one. Why take away a feature from one app and put it in another? So frustrating, but that is the feeling that sums up their internet service itself so i shouldn’t of expected much more from their apps. ### 1/5 — Don’t get this horrible app *2021-12-20, version 2.1.3* Getting charged for an app that works 10% of the time. It tells you the device you want is blocked when in fact it’s clearly not! Call just about 2 times a month and I they have only made it work twice in those long wait phone calls! It will list the devices connected to your router, but it wants you to subscribe and pay a monthly fee in order to control those devices. My router has been off for over an hour, but according to the app, there are two devices currently using it. And yes, I have refreshed the app multiple times. One of us can turn off a particular device and then we find out the other cannot turn that same device back on. ### 2/5 — Bugged up??? *2020-07-28, version 1.10.0* I loved it at first but now it shows I have zero devices online when I have at least 10 and it shows several offline I’ve never heard of and I pay for premium!! ### 2/5 — Logs me out continually *2020-05-31, version 1.9.0* I liked being able to see what devices were on the network so I could conserve data. But now I log on, it gets to my page but before the devices show it logs me out - going on 2 weeks of this! ### 2/5 — Buggy *2020-04-27, version 1.8.0* The app and service will be great after they work out some bugs, but for now most of all features are buggy and do not work. Bugs and errors currently: 1. Editing device nicknames and device type shows that it saves then after refreshing they will all go back to default. 2. Sometimes the app shows no zero devices protected when there is devices connected. 3.
